You're just gonna ignore the examples I provided for you after you asked for them and continue to post bullshit?

I’m willing to listen to others and reconsider my opinion of Kirk if people can point to specific things he has done or said that make him a bad person. I just haven’t seen anything that indicates that.

Above, I dissected his quote about black airline pilots, which, taken by itself, is disgusting.

But his "broader" argument is that affirmative action, specifically preferences, has CREATED that doubt by creating a perception that less-talented minorities get jobs in place of more-qualified whites.  That's a highly debatable proposition and ignores the very real possibility that without preferences, and "DEI" in the military, there'd be no perception because there would be no black airline pilots.

But that's sophistry covering the essential racism of the basic position, that a dirty nagger can't possibly be an airline pilot.

As revealed pretty clearly here:

I find that when I try to watch some of these videos of this former person who used to live on Earth, I can only make it so far before I have to turn it off out of just absolute disgust.

I cannot fathom being subjected to a steady diet of that, for years, and what it must do to your soul. Well, I guess we're seeing it in real time.

So she is left to finish her senior year elsewhere. Her hispanic friend told us kids at school thought it was funny to tell her they were going to call ICE on her even though her family has been here for generations and her dad is an MIT grad. These are your church going conservative kids that Kirk is grooming.

This is how you humblebrag

This reminds me of a documentary or news story I saw about the Columbine shooting.  They were interviewing Marilyn Manson because I guess the shooters listened to his music or something.  Anyway, I was afraid of Marilyn Manson.  He creeped me out.  But during the interview he was asked, "What would you say to the shooters if you had a chance to talk to them?"  His answer, "I wouldn't say anything; I would listen."  That was one of those moments for me, among many, of the realization that just because someone looks weird or scary that they aren't an intelligent, compassionate person inside.

Manson used to completely own unprepared journalists in interviews.  I would love to have seen peak Manson go up against the brain trust at Fox News.

Me, too.

Discussing the SM hue and cry with my wife, who is on IG, she wondered why anyone would think it came from actual humans, and not bot farms. Of course, my wife is thinking Kirk was deliberately martyred ever since she saw the dead eyed defiance in the widow’s video. The immediate wave of speech suppression felt orchestrated to her, as well.

Yep. I mean ... weren't they already trying to couch it as 'trans violence' within minutes of the shooting? Odd, at best. I'd never even heard that term until this happened.

And in a time where half the country calls most conservatives fascist, this dude went about it the right way through open discussion. Ironically, instead of silencing him, assassinating the man in front of his wife and kids and thousands of students will make his message that much more popular amongst young voters.

"Half the country" probably doesn't even know or use, much less attempt to define, the term "fascist." But I do bet that most people who both use and know the term are also pretty astute at figuring out where most of it sits on the left-to-right American political spectrum right now.

But, yeah, sure, his messages will be "that much more popular" among the young voters. Especially those young, black females like the one who got arrested at Tech.

And that's the thing, as an ethnic person, I do not understand. What does making an informed decision look like for you? What are you prioritizing? For me I am prioritizing mine and my family's personal safety first and foremost. Is this person I am voting for going to be hostile to me or people I love? If I can check that box then I move on from there. So obviously for me, a black guy with a teenage daughter, the Republican party is out in box number one. I try to imagine what it would be like to be white, and what my first box would be. I feel like I would still be concerned with my wife and daughter's well being first and foremost. How does one arrive at "I am okay with people like Charlie Kirk and Nick Fuentes being influential to my kids as long as the party does XYZ". I am being honest when I say I do not understand it. I feel like I would want that gross ideology as far away from my family as I can get it.

For us black people, conservatives have been a danger to us since 1865. We can be counted on to support whichever party the conservatives ARE NOT in. The few blacks that vote alongside conservatives are largely the self-loathing blacks(Candace Parker). The rest of us vote for self preservation first, and THEN we look at the issues second.

Wow. Didn’t mean to watch that, but god damn. 180 degrees from reality and when he catches himself, he admits it doesn’t matter.

I guess, Welcome to the GOP? Where nothing really matters

This. Isn’t. Real.

It is. I'm sure free speech guy will make sure to pressure Texas Tech to bring back the girl who was just expelled for saying horrible shit at a Charlie Kirk vigil on Tech's campus in their "Free Speech Zone".

Sure - tankies and left-authoritarians are shitbags all on their own.  Shit, the differences between left authoritarianism and right authoritarianism are a lot smaller than I thought when I was younger and naive.

Of course, none of them are literally in charge of our current government, and controlling almost all media, and openly promising to use the power and apparatus of the state to punish, repress, and "exile" the political opposition.  If and when any of them threaten to do so, I'll absolutely turn my attention to them.

Yep. Some people say the political spectrum is a line. I believe it's a horseshoe or a circle. Just one of many versions:

Did she call for violence?

Look, I think what that chick did in that video is distasteful, hurtful, and ignorant.  Like much of what Charlie said.

But it's problematic to think Charlie Kirk was some free speech icon who didn't deserve his fate and to also support this girl getting kicked out school for her free speech response, isn't it?

It’s definitely endorsing violence. But I’m not a lawyer or into the semantics, just telling you why a university would not to allow a student to do that. It wasn’t my opinion on what they should do.

It’s not illegal speech like specific calls to violence but it’s so close to that line for the university to ignore it would be unwise.  I’m sure their legal team reviewed that interaction and said no thanks.
