He found "free" fireworks for his celebration of Trump 4th of July celebration:

The president, who is also fond of hosting rallies for his supporters, added that the celebration would include a “major fireworks display, entertainment and an address by your favorite President, me!”

Mr. Trump has long said he wanted to stage a display of American military might, musing about a parade on Pennsylvania Avenue or a Veterans Day extravaganza. He got the idea after watching a Bastille Day parade on the Champs-Élysées in 2017, but was stymied last yearby spiraling costs that rendered his vision too expensive.

It was unclear whether the Independence Day celebration he announced on Sunday would include any type of parade, or a display of tanks, fighter planes and troops.

On social media, critics questioned how the event would differ from Mr. Trump’s campaign rallies and accused him of taking credit for an Independence Day celebration that happens on the National Mall every year.

“It is a shame that Donald Trump has decided to hijack the already-planned, non-political Capitol Fourth, to honor himself with a rally,” VoteVets, a progressive veterans group, said on Twitter. “If it involves the military parading to boost his ego, we will do everything we can to stop it.”

He enlisted David Bernhardt, the acting secretary of the interior, whose department oversees the National Park Service, to help plan it. “David, you’re taking care of that, and we’ll see how it works out with schedules and everything else,” Mr. Trump said at the meeting.

On Sunday, Mr. Trump indicated that the event would take place, but few details were available. In a statement on Sunday, the Interior Department said the National Park Service was “working diligently to provide the president with a plan for Salute to America,” adding, “At this time, everything is pre-decisional.”

During his meeting at the White House, Mr. Trump said he had already found some savings: “free” fireworks. The event would coincide with the annual fireworks put on by the National Park Service, which paid $270,000 for an 18-minute show last year.

That’s not particularly novel. What makes it so dangerous is that he combines it with total ignorance. He knows absolute nothing about anything, and has zero desire to educate himself on any matter. Books? Borrrinnggg. Intelligence briefings? More pictures, less words. How the US government works? Hardly important for a President.

When you refuse to be wrong about anything while simultaneously refusing any attempt to understand what is right, well, you come across like a fucking retard who Johnny Sack thinks is great.

It's incredible. He has access to hundreds/thousands of experts in just about any field you could name. He has the best intelligence provided to him. He has people whose sole job is to make sure he is prepared for whatever his next meeting is.

All that, and he comes off as an uninformed jackass every time. Bravo.

I woke up to this, and yes!  Perfectly put.

And then I had a song show up in my mind:

Children are innocent
Teenagers are fucked up in the head
Adults are even more fucked up
And elderlies are like children

Will there be another race
To come along and take over for us?
Maybe martians could do
Better than we've done

Those are the words of the President of the United States of America about a known pederast.  In any other administration this would be the biggest scandal to hit them over 4/8 years.

Doesn't even raise eye brows with this swamp thing motherfucker.  Somebody end this god damn sim.

If he gets re-elected I'm rooting for meteor.  End this bullshit.  We won't deserve to live.

He's such an idoit.

As I reflect on the irony of this...  he's correcting his negotiator that we need bona fide agreement not MOUs that form the basis for those subsequent agreements.  And later this week he will likely declare N. Korea will denuclearize and join the global economy despite having obtained neither of the aforementioned documents.

But it doesn't make sense to quote Mussolini. Mussolini rejected socialism, banned their political parties and killed them. The nationalism that he espoused is actually pretty fucking close to Trumpism and not DS politics.

You're overestimating the intelligence of our senator in the twitter sphere.

This needs to become a twitter taunt.  Shame that fat fuck into getting on a pitcher's mound so he can make a fool of himself.....yet again.

He'd never throw from the mound. He might toss the ball from the first row to a player standing on the field below him 5 ft away, but he'd still throw like a girl and be off target.

Trump rips Harry Reid for 'failed career' after ex-Dem leader slams him in interview

.....Reid opted not to seek reelection in 2016 after 30 years in the Senate.

Reid, 79, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year. He told CNN he is in remission thanks to early detection and intense chemotherapy.

In an interview published Monday morning, Reid was asked whether he has anything positive to say about Trump.

"I just have trouble accepting him as a person, so, frankly, I don't see anything he's doing right," Reid said.

He added that he respects former President George W. Bush (R) despite their political differences and that the 43rd president "would be Babe Ruth in this league that he's in with Donald Trump in the league."

Reid, who served in the Senate from 1987 to 2017, has previously called Trump "amoral” and "without question the worst president we've ever had."

TIL that a 76 (at the time) year old man retiring = getting thrown out of the Senate.

A few more could do with getting thrown out who are older than that - Turtle, Bernie, Lamar Alexander, Leahy, Inhofe, Shelby, Grassley and DiFi.

Fucking get thrown out!

Cornyn has the intellectual capacity and personality of a kitchen sponge. Not your ordinary kitchen sponge, mind you. But an old moldy one that's never fully dried out.

I've been near the man once in my life, seated at the next table at Castle Hill in Austin.  He was a total dick to the wait staff.  That told me all I needed to know about him.
