You do realize that while white supremacy is an idea, but the Proud Boys and other right wing groups are actually real groups?

Yeah, my point was it was a very dumb thing for Biden to say.  We don't disagree.

White supremacy is also an idea and not an organization.  This was as bad a moment for Biden as the opposite one was for Trump.

Biden is on the record as condemning violence on both sides.  Trump is on the record saying the guys who marched with tiki torches chanting "the jews will not replace us" are "very fine people."

ANTIFA in America: About 50 years old, breaks windows, is annoying, sets things on fire sometimes, chants, hit a guy on the head with a bike lock in 2016 (guy who did it is in jail now)...

White Supremacy: As old as the nation, millions of dead black people, centuries of racial terror, war on drugs, world-leading imprisonment system, perpetual black economic poverty and struggle...

Just now, JBJ said:

Kind of, he should've said, "ANTIFA is an unfortunate but necessary reaction to the rise of white nationalism and fascism in this country when the best the middle can muster is impotent outrage on Facebook and eating cake on SNL. ANTIFA will go away naturally as the racist fascism of Donald Trump fades. White supremacy is an infection that's been in our souls since the founding."

No, we focused on what you said. Your words painted those as equally bad moments. They were not close.

That's like your opinion, man.  One violent idea has been a lot more visible recently than the other, the other has a long history within our borders.

They don't have to be the exact same to be similar.

The "idea" of ANTIFA is being against fascism.   The implementation that has been used you may disagree with, but you really disagree with the idea of being anti-fascist??

The "idea" of white supremacist is redundant regardless of the implementation.

Now you are just parsing the language. Everyone knows antifa referred to the violent leftwing extremists. It was in the middle of a discussion on riots, police, and law and order.

You are the one who said it was an idea equivalent to white supremacy.  It is not.  There may be bad actors, and some may have used the banner to commit violence, but the idea is something one can support without supporting violence.   Even "non-violent white supremacy" is something that should be universally rejected.

Further, they attribute some 300+ deaths in the last 25 years to right-wing groups in America. Left-wing? Zero.

Trying to discuss them in the same breathe is disingenuous but typical of Trump and his followers.

Writing it off as just an idea is comparable to writing off white supremacy as an idea.

If you can think of a better right-wing equivalent, offer one.

Yes Nikki.   Being 1 member of a 100 member organization that is one half of  one  branch composing 1/3 of government power,  as well as holding a largely symbolic office for 8 yrs with absolutely no real power is exactly the equivalent of being the leader of the entire executive branch.

The country has multiple statues honoring the founder of one of the most prominent white supremacy orgs (I.e Nathaniel Bedford Forrest and the Klan). Zero statues to Antifa.

Is there a spokesman/woman for Antifa that has clearly articulated their structure and goals to the media? Oh there isn’t.

I can find those with Proud Boys Gavin McGinnis putting a dildo in his butt to own the libs and calling for violence at every turn, and have pages of hits on the Internet for the KKK.

JBJ, below is the Proud Boys creator Gavin McInnes. Hear his words and then say if you think ANTIFA is/ or has anything remotely similar to stoke violence. There is a 2 and one half minute compilation of this guy using slurs and then putting a butt plug in himself to “own the libs.” Antifa and white supremacy movements are not equal.

I'm pretty sure he's familiar with the group he's a member of. I just wish he'd answer my question about whether he had to shove a dildo up his ass at his initiation. I'm very confused about whether that's something they all do or whether that's just something their leader did that they all think is cool and edgy or something.
