If she was smart she’d lay low and disappear. She’s gonna get the death threats and harassment from maga that she loved so much when it was directed to others and that she helped foment.

I keep a couple MAGAs on deck to keep my finger on the pulse and it is, and has been for a minute, dead silent over here. They are ignoring it.

I’m keeping an eye on some of my MAGA relatives and they are either staying silent, or in the case of two women, one openly supported MTG, and one just said “we need to see ALL of the files”.  I know that one of them was abused as a kid, and the other had a shitty ex-husband who we think abused her, so that maybe driving it, BUT they aren’t getting pushback from other relatives.  I was expecting relatives who don’t know their full situations to do the “ITS ALL A HOAX BY THE DEMOCRATS” but silence

Baby steps.

Y'all should offer helpful comments to your maga people like "Hey, do you know who was mentioned in Epstein's emails more than any other person on planet Earth? Donald Trump. I think they stopped counting somewhere around 2,000 times. Weird, huh."

Republican honchos in her district are backing her over Trump, and they have a lot of support.

Statement from the Chairman of the 14th Congressional District Republican Party

The 14th Congressional District Republican Party issues the following statement in full and unwavering support of our duly elected Representative, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Congresswoman Greene has consistently demonstrated steadfast commitment to the citizens of Northwest Georgia. She has served with honor, conviction, and uncompromising dedication to the principles that define both our district and our nation. As a woman of faith and a devoted mother, Congresswoman Greene has been a tireless advocate for the sanctity of life, the right to free speech, and the protections guaranteed under the Second Amendment.

She has been a strong voice for free and fair elections, for strengthening American families, and for ensuring that American taxpayer dollars are used to advance American priorities, not foreign conflicts or international initiatives that offer no clear benefit to the people she represents.

Her America First, America Only approach reflects the deeply held values of the citizens of the 14th District. Congresswoman Greene has consistently emphasized that federal resources must support American workers, American communities, and American infrastructure before being allocated abroad. This position, rooted in common sense and loyalty to her constituents, has earned her broad and enduring support throughout Northwest Georgia.

Recent national criticism directed at Congresswoman Greene does not change the fundamental truth that she serves at the direction of the people of this district.

While the President of the United States represents the nation as a whole, Congresswoman Greene represents the people of Northwest Georgia, and she has done so with clarity, resolve, and integrity. Her willingness to speak candidly on behalf of her constituents, even in the face of political pressure, underscores her courage and her fidelity to her oath.

The 14th Congressional District Republican Party expresses its deep appreciation for Congresswoman Greene’s continued service and steadfast leadership.

We remain confident in her ability to represent our district with honor and conviction.

On behalf of the people of Northwest Georgia, we extend our prayers, our support, and our gratitude to Congresswoman Greene. We stand with her today, tomorrow, and for as long as she continues to serve this district and uphold its values.

In Freedom, Jim Tully

Chairman

Georgia Republican Party 14th Congressional District

Liz Cheney 2.0? Good to see her fighting within her party but she’s still a Republican through and through and I’d breakout the s’mores kit if she were on fire.

Doesn’t look like it, in that her district seems to love her and will probably re-elect her. The MAGAs in Wyoming turned fiercely on Cheney as I recall.

Well, she is putting most of her chips in on this being the breaking point for the American people and trying to get ahead of it...

...without directly saying anything bad about Trump to hedge her bets.

Quite the opportunist.

This pisses me off so much. Either this new humble servant shit is a complete fabrication, or the shrieking harpie bitch is a complete fabrication.

or both are completely fake.

my money is on the uberbitch being the real Marge based on her known behaviors prior to being elected.

maybe Kirk’s shooting shook her a little and she doesn’t want to make herself a target any longer by publicly spewing hatred.

Honestly, I'm fine with it. We need far more Republicans to remember that, at the end of the day, Trump doesn't give a fuck about any of them and would sell them out the second it's convenient to him.

Stop licking orange man's taint! You're a politician -- go back to being self-serving and power hungry! This man is weak and offers you nothing!

But he is powerful, tons of people love him still regardless of how many kids he fucked. Except for a few pockets here and there they can’t win without schlobbing the orange mushroom. Northwest Georgia ain’t one of them lol.

I'm happy to see MTG's recent shift in perspective only because it's helping to fracture the Republican party.  Anyone who thinks she is being more honest with herself now than she had ever been before is a fool.  She's a political animal who goes with the wind, she has no moral compass, no decency, and no intent to do anything beyond staying in power.

Yep. Keep in mind, Greene has been in the 8th grade level of dialogue with her fellow Republicans before.  A couple of years ago she called Boebert "a little bitch" for copying of her homework.

Quote

“I had already introduced articles of impeachment on Joe Biden for the border, asked her to co-sponsor mine — she didn’t,” Greene told reporters Wednesday. “She basically copied my articles and then introduced them and then changed them to a privileged resolution.”

Yep. And I'll never forgive her for harassing David Hogg just weeks after the Parkland shootings.  She's still that person.

Outside of Stephen Miller, has any political/notable figure remotely close to Trump remained close to Trump since he became President in 2017?

Bannon. Alex Jones. Gaetz. Lewendowski.

And we should do everything to convince her and others with similar “values” that straying from Trump and being more civil will be rewarded.
