Me too. I hope she gets him so frustrated that he drops the N-bomb and then Kamala Harris simply smiles and says I think we are done here. The moderator agrees and then simply walk off.

Do not repeat the mistakes of the 2016 Clinton Campaign.  I remember going up to knock doors in PA in late October and the local coordinated campaigns were like "We've been screaming for resources for months while they open another office in NC"

You're right that we're well past the time when putting resources into Texas or Florida makes sense - that needs to happen over several years.

However, it's pretty clear the DNC learned their lesson after 2016. Hillabeast's campaign flat out ignored Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania thinking they were in the bag. The DNC has made a big investment in setting up field offices in all of the swing states including NC.

You know who hasn't made an investment in those states? The GOP - and at the direction of Trump's staff.

Nikki Fried is doing good work in FL.  Don't lump her in with the TDP

Trump's lawsuits and aircraft and other expenses ain't going to pay for themselves if the RNC is dumping money into all those down-ballot races/offices.

I loved that if down-ballot Republicans wanted to use Trump's likeness in their campaign mailers or on their websites, they  had to pay him a portion of their fundraising. That is exactly what a conman running for office would do - get his finger in everybody's pie.

At least in Nebraska....

County party leaders are elected by whoever gets through the door on the day of the county convention. I was one of those (voters) in 2018.  Normally, county party meetings maybe have 10-20 people for each monthly meeting.  On the day of the convention, it was over well 500.  Bunch of people I never saw again.  It was a hotly contested election between a labor guy and a women who was more involved with campaigns.  The woman won, and then the labor guy got elected to vice-chair in an inspiring moment of unity.

State party leaders are elected by the delegates selected at the county convention.  (I was one of those in 2018). That was a pretty easy election for Jane.  I like Jane, but she is full of shit.  Our County Chair hated Jane.   I feel comfortable stating that on a message board, because Jane already knows it.

National delegates are selected at the state level.  (I didn't have a chance in hell of that.)

So what's my point? These are not top-down organizations.  The national party does not decide who is running the state parties.  Just doesn't happen.  The intraparty politics are just as vicious and way more annoying than the Republican vs. Democrat politics.  It turns a lot of people off, including myself.  So much arguing over who gets to drive, rather than where we are going.  But, if anyone wants to change who is running the state party, the first step is showing up to the meetings.  Tahoe will bring donuts.

Nate said he himself, not his model, would likely give Harris 80% chance to win the EC with a 3 point lead

MOAR!!

Last update: 3 p.m., Tuesday, August 13: Not a huge volume of polling since our last update, but we continue to see new national polls coming in toward the Harris +3 to Harris +4 range, and that has boosted her overall lead over Trump to 3.1 points in our national polling average, her largest yet. That’s enough to offset some mediocre polling for Harris in Texas and Florida, which are at best on the fringe as swing states.

Yes, Harris would never agree to a conversation with Musk because she has to stick to her script. Etc.

Trump is so knowledgeable about so many things. blah blah blah.

It's crazy how he can do no wrong with them.  Just walk around naked and they continue to praise his stylish outfit. They can't admit to any failure or weakness at all, ever.

Contrast Bidens debate performance and the immediate breakout from His party.

They're just like the Cowboys fans who still have unwavering faith in Jerry and Dak simply because they wear the star.

SIAP. Trump telling Elon that any striking worker should be fired. I would love to see the reaction of the blue collar, union voters in Ohio, who plan to vote for Trump.

I am sure the door knockers in Ohio will be amazed by how many factory workers follow Olympic women boxing.

Love how Kamala HQ just trolls MAGA and Trump all day every day. Seems like a fun job.

I don't want anyone to quote it again, but was the actual origin of him doing that weird hissing thing?

She was never voting for the Dems anyway, if that's what she really thinks.

It’s not enough to just sit out. Abstaining is essentially a vote in favor of losing democracy, women’s rights, minority rights, workers’ rights, and countless other important issues.

This election couldn’t be simpler. We’re not comparing two brilliant minds to see which aligns best with our ideals; it’s literally a choice between good and evil this time.

Abstentions and votes for Trump are dead to me.
