Elon probably is capable of taking a larger strap on than her husband.

It just now occurs to me, no one has ever seen Elon Musk and @NowThis in the same room together...

If you go to this page right now, the name over the pic is "Katie Musk."

It's gone already but I did learn something.

Quote

She was found stealing newspapers when the endorsement of a rival party's candidate, a popular football player, by the UF coach, Will Muschamp, was front-page news.[5][6]

How bad must you be in bed for your wife to leave you for a guy with a botched pecker implant?

Meanwhile, how many of us guys on Surly were sweating it when we had penis reduction surgeries.

I mean he's not designing the rocket. But I don't disagree, I just think the project was doomed from the start because it's far too complex for something as large as it is that's supposed to be reusable. Even if it has multiple successful flights from here on I'm not sure it will ever fly as it was intended because I'm not sure it ever meets NASA's acceptable risk thresholds considering the number of failure points we're dealing with here.

NASA's acceptable risk thresholds will change - Musk got some of his people into top positions within NASA.

DOGE was never about government efficiency, it was about shutting down investigations into his companies while at the same time trying to get his companies in to take over a lot of government stuff or take contracts from other companies.

I've been on more ground up design projects than I can count.  When the guy at the top is prone to making calls from the hip then things tend to go sideways.  Musk strikes me as that kind of guy.

It is now a load-bearing wall in my mental construct of reality that Miller’s wife got entangled with Elon. Whether true or false, it’s now part of my core belief system.

It doesn't matter, astronauts are not going to be fooled if he makes a push to nudge the thresholds a few percentage points. This is a hard stop because he can't coerce, threaten, or pressure anyone to get on that vehicle. There is no leverage.

Veeerrry sinister.

Miller is the type to either use the government to squeeze his companies, or make it clear that he’s very close to being shipped off to South America in handcuffs.

Golly! Maybe it is bullshit. Let's take another half century to figure out what we need to do to balance a budget.

In a post Saturday on X, Musk said: "To be clear, I am NOT taking drugs! The New York Times was lying their ass off."

He added: "I tried 'prescription' ketamine a few years ago and said so on X, so this not even news. It helps for getting out of dark mental holes, but haven't taken it since then."

I had a ‘prescription’ manhattan this afternoon, followed by two prescription margarita with floaters and a half bottle of prescription champagne. Hopefully the other half will get me out of this mental hole.

Sounds like you should top off with some weed and Vicodin.

Dude, we're going to have a six week reality TV show to find the replacement astronauts that are hardcore and not a bunch of coward ass pussies like the current group.  Got it?

You kidding me? The visionary Michael Bay has already shown us the best place to get new astronauts - oil well drillers, DUH!
