I will not be shocked if he goes after AOC, either via the DOJ or ICE.  He has shown that he has no problem deporting immigrants, and he has said he will now target US citizens.  She's probably near the top of the list.

Not many schools (even private) can do that.  Harvard is reportedly risking $9B in federal funding.  Their endowment is just over $50B, and even so they would be restricted in how they use it.  This will lead to serious program cuts.

So now the Trump administration is withholding $2.2B in funding to Harvard? I fully expect the next step is to revoke the visa for every international student and faculty member.

That was already illegal, he just hated lip synching so he made it illegal. Turkmenistan is/was an incredibly interesting place.

Here's a video of the president after him "winning" a horse race, until it faceplants and the video was smuggled out after threats to journalists in the audience.

You'll notice that the other jockeys are letting him win before he faceplanted. I'm assuming Trump's recent golf championships are exactly the same kind of thing.

I lived in Uzbekistan during the waning days of the brutal and bizarre Karimov dictatorship.  I was there when he tossed his once-favored daughter Gulnora (pop-star name: Googoosha) into jail for maybe being a witch.  We used to talk about how fortunate we were not to be in Turkmenistan where it was really weird.

Googoosha video apropos of nothing.

Yeah it is going to suck, but what choice do you have? It is either that or lose your institutional independence.

Trump's used Air Force One, at taxpayer expense, to travel from West Palm Beach to Miami—a drive of just over an hour—for a UFC event.

Having a MIL in Palm Beach and a SIL in Coral Gables, I'm familiar with that drive, and it's a motherfucker.  But a helo would work quite well.

The plan is to request that Congress rescind $1.1 billion in federal funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, the taxpayer-backed company that funds public media organizations across the United States, one of the people said. If Congress agrees, that will amount to about two years of the organization’s funding, nearly all of which goes to public broadcasters including NPR, PBS and their local member stations.

Probably send her to some filthy women’s prison. With a mean lesbian warden. Where their clothes are all ratty and stick to their bodies because of the heat, and sexual favors are traded like

Sorry I blacked out there for a second. But yeah if he’s disappearing people like AOC then we’re past civil war stage.

Someone else will have to post whole story. I'm on my phone in Paris.

In the Trump regime’s letter to Harvard demanding a complete eradication of diversity, equity and inclusion, they, in that very same letter, demanded Harvard implement “viewpoint diversity” throughout the university.

Somebody should tell them…

Last summer I went to a sports bar to watch a Longhorn baseball game with some buddies.  Unbeknownst to us, there was a big UFC fight that night that overlapped with the game.  I will never forget the reaction of that packed bar when they showed Trump on the broadcast.  One of my first "holy shit, he really might win" moments.

They are up to UFC eleventy billion. There’s a big UFC fight every night.

They are correct in that the new Daily Mail poll is crazy good for Trump. 54% approval.

I am not sure what to make of it, besides it advancing my doomerism.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - One of U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's top advisors, Dan Caldwell, was escorted out of the Pentagon on Tuesday after being identified during an investigation into leaks at the Department of Defense, a U.S. official told Reuters.

Caldwell, a senior advisor to Pete Hegseth, was placed on administrative leave for "an unauthorized disclosure," the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity. The decision has not been previously reported.

"The investigation remains ongoing," the official said.

Trump: "I will protect women...whether they like it or not."

Also Trump:

So, for the sake of clarity: efforts to limit violence against women "no longer effectuate [the Trump administration's] priorities."

So, I mean a bit of good news for all of you pathetic loser men types out there: it's cool to slap a bitch around again!  "Make Bitches Obedient Again!...or Else!"

Correct.

The correct path is to dox and harass and make miserable all Trumpers.  Shame their kids.  Wreck their businesses.  Ruin them personally, socially, and economically.  Accelerate their ruin and suffering.  They speak only one language: pain.  So....start speaking it more loudly than they do.

Although not everything was bad as he did ban lip synching at concerts in public.
