Yuuup. The guilt has crept it's way in, and I feel entirely powerless. No clue how to actually help. I think we were all holding out hope that the judicial branch would put up something resembling a fight.

I feel like Colin Firth's character in Conspiracy. Sure, I'm ultimately a piece of shit with no power standing by while heinous things happen to keep myself out of the target reticle...but I feel really, really bad about it.

Now we're just waiting until November '26 in the hope that having the majority of Congress critters shift ever so slightly will be able to stop people from being disappeared?

That should be blasted everywhere on all legitimate news outlets.

If you think that is okay then you are a fucking asshole that I wish nothing but misery for.

I just can't believe ANYONE would think this is OK, but sadly, many, many do.  This country is crumbling before our eyes.

42% of our population is absolutely fine with this.

Hard to not notice that they are not just targeting poor browns anymore.  That is very caucasian looking, well dressed physician in a 75k SUV.   Not even lilly whitewashed minorities are safe anymore.   Gulp.

local news story actually... somebody with the feds showed up (don't even know what agency) to like a dozen republican county clerks in CO to take a look at their equipment or something, whatever bullshit... credit to the clerks, they unanimously and pretty sternly replied 'nope'.

Only a matter of time before someone caps one of these ICE agents.

Shit might get really ugly after that.

I am ashamed it hasn't happened yet.  I mean, especially after Johnny Sack had that lengthy thread of left-wing violence.

Actually worse. It’s plausible that many germans were not aware of the goings-on in the early stages. We are all aware.

there are only two routes forward

they peel people off until they get to you

someone pops off back and starts the next phase in teh war.

rinse and repeat.

sadly, there are no other ways out. its horrific and unjust. and its 100% American made.

Feds charge SoCal medical workers with interfering in ICE raid

Two staff members from an Ontario surgery center have been charged with allegedly interfering with U.S. immigration officers trying to detain landscapers who ran into the center to escape.

Jose de Jesus Ortega, a 38-year-old Highland resident, was arrested Friday morning and is expected to appear in U.S. District Court in Riverside, according to a U.S. attorney's office Central District of California news release.

Officials are still looking for the other suspect, Danielle Nadine Davila, 33, of Corona. Both are charged with assaulting a federal officer and conspiracy to prevent by force and intimidation a federal officer from discharging his duties, authorities said.

Spoiler

According to video obtained by KTLA-TV, staffers at the Ontario Advanced Surgical Center earlier this month told two agents to leave because they didn’t have a warrant to go onto the property. The agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement were trying to detain 30-year-old Denis Guillen-Solis and two other landscapers who had been working outside and ran into the surgical center when the agents showed up.

In the video, Guillen-Solis is shown holding onto the doorway at the surgical center and asking the agents to present identification. The agents then pulled Guillen-Solis from the doorway and detained him.

“The illegal alien arrested inside the surgery center was not a patient. He ran inside for cover and these defendants attempted to block his apprehension by assaulting our agents," said U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli in a statement.

According to an affidavit, the two ICE agents wore government-issued equipment, including vests and were using unmarked government-operated vehicles when they conducted their operations.

The agents followed a truck with three men inside and approached them after the men exited the truck in the parking lot of the surgery center, according to the release. Two of the men ran away and one of them, an alleged undocumented immigrant from Honduras, was detained near the surgery center's front entrance and tried to pull away, causing the ICE officer to fall to the ground.

A medical staffer helped the man off the ground and pulled him away from the officer, according to the news release. The man went into the surgery center and was chased by the ICE agent, who eventually stopped him.

The incident occurred amid an extraordinary immigration enforcement effort by the Trump administration in Southern California. Thousands of unauthorized immigrants — many without a criminal record — have been detained at work, in courthouses and on public streets going about their day.

Have any of these people getting arrested for interfering with ICE gotten convicted for anything yet?

I really look forward to the day when we dismantle this fucking thug led group and throw all of them in Guantanamo.  I’ll be first in line to pay admission to go visit them in Cuba and laugh at them.  These are fucking losers.  All of them.

I’ve never been a fuck the police person, but I am now.  Fuckem.  They all earned it.

Whole story is awful as all of these tend to be.  But for all the 'one day someone is going to shoot ICE talk':

In her entire law career, Sarah McCracken has never seen anything like the email she received on June 25.
McCracken, a tenants’ rights lawyer at Tobener Ravenscroft, is currently representing a Latino family suing a landlord and real estate agent for illegal eviction after being kicked out of their Baldwin Park home last year.
A few weeks after being served, amid a series of ICE raids primarily targeting Latino communities in L.A. County, Rod Fehlman, the lawyer who appeared to be representing the agent at the time, sent McCracken’s team a series of emails disputing the lawsuit and urging them to drop the case.

He ended the correspondence with this: “It is also interesting to note that your clients are likely to be picked up by ICE and deported prior to trial thanks to all the good work the Trump administration has done in regards to immigration in California.”
“It’s racist,” McCracken said. “Not only is it unethical and probably illegal, but it’s just a really wild thing to say — especially since my clients are U.S. citizens.”

This is nothing. There is a contract already submitted much larger. Up to 10B. Multiple companies will be selected. It is to build and run facilities and support transportation.

I find this interesting. I thought the illegals would all be gone by 2026. So why will they need this in 2027? And why the Army? Why not DHS funds?

Construction is expected to be completed by September 2027, according to the Department of Defense contract notice. Army funds of $232 million have been allocated to the facility.

Just another day at the office. Afterwards they can go and talk fantasy football and coolest face coverings.

Immigration agents told a teenage US citizen: ‘You’ve got no rights.’ He secretly recorded his brutal arrest

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/jul/25/florida-teen-immigration-arrest

Laynez-Ambrosio can also be heard telling officers: “I was born and raised right here.” Still, he was pushed to the ground and says that an officer aimed a stun gun at him. He was subsequently arrested and held in a cell at a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) station for six hours.

Audio in the video catches the unidentified officers debriefing and appearing to make light of the stun gun use. “You’re funny, bro,” one officer can be overheard saying to another, followed by laughter.

Another officer says, “They’re starting to resist more now,” to which an officer replies: “We’re going to end up shooting some of them.”
