Sadly it does not matter what he does, it is always a convoluted excuse making machine on their part, the problem is what we do and how do we stop doing it.

A classical example is calling them "weird" strategy, I know it was Waltz that started it but that was like so damn feminine energy.

Correct. “Weird” was a step in the right direction, but way too namby-pamby. The right terms need to be forceful, and even profane.

“They’re just dicks.”
“They’re assholes.” Wanna midwestern it? Fine, “they’re a-holes.”
We’re here to make sure things better. They make things work. Look at what they just did to our economy. We have more debt, higher prices. We have fewer jobs, less money, empty shelves, and fewer options. They make everything worse and lie to you and say it’s better. No, they’re just assholes. Who live to serve billionaires by screwing you, the American people.

Just one of many cogs in a giant, all-knowing, all-powerful propaganda machine spanning big tech (capitulated) and legacy media (capitulated) that will always have explanations and narratives where voting conservative is never the problem.

USTR Lighthizer, although a "trade hawk," seemed to keep Trump I semi-sane.

The new guy is a former Lighthizer deputy, but is completely failing at that job.

Reminds me of the story of man cast adrift on the ocean.  He prays, "God, Please save me."

A boat sails by and the captain asks if he needs help and the man says, "No God will save me".  So the boat sails off.  He prays harder and two more times boats come up and he rejects the offers for food, water or to be picked up because his faith that God will save him.  Predictably he dies and when he gets to heaven he asks God, "Why didn't you save me?".  God replies, "What do you mean I sent three boats!"

The amazing thing about this all is that none of these folks realize this is suppaku. The dagger is already in a vital organ. Now pain is inevitable. They are too stupid/ brainwashed. I am not talking about the unwashed masses. I am talking about the so called elites (whom are mid level at best in this deal) that allowed and funded this to fruition. They will have their businesses fail and blame dems. As the dagger plunges into their heart, they will scream thanks Obama, fuck you Biden!!

It truly is a fascinating time to be alive.

The next reporter that asks the simple question, "When will things get better? We were promised on the campaign trail it would be day 1, it is over 100 days in and everything is collapsing. When do you envision it getting better?" Will be the first and insta banned from the pool.

Narrator, it is not getting better. We have elected a scammer and grifter that cares about himself first and country second. Good job maga.

It's the hat he wears to Cowboy Church, so yea.

My daughter and I were talking last night  about places where you can and can’t carry a holstered firearm and we started talking about the woman who shot herself in the parking lot of McBride’s the other day. It’s hard to know what people’s intentions are.

So then we had a great idea. The idea is a gun hat- basically a large cowboy hat, but with one or more holsters on the crown of the hat so you can assert/promote your 2A rights in a highly visible but less operational way with less risk of triggering or scaring nervous people and anti-gun wackos.

Imagine how proud you would feel to be an American when you wear this around:

None at all. When a soldier, sailor or airmen performed this in WWII they were almost all honorable deaths (notwithstanding some of the soldiers that killed civilians on Okinawa, Guam, etc.). These people have no shame, honor or anything related to that. We are governed by white trash and white trash adjacent like Rubio.

The underlying message when you frame it like this is that we don’t have free choice and that everything is predetermined by god.

because god picking and choosing what is part of the plan and what is inconsequential doesn’t really work, and how would a person or populace begin to glean which is which?

so every illegal border crossing, every murder, every vote, it’s all God’s plan.

except somehow the devil can bypass the plan, maybe.

Well, it’s not even the real verse but a loose and fairly questionable paraphrase:

“In their hearts humans plan their course but the Lord establishes their steps.”

For better or for worse what exists here (as everywhere) is a set of folk beliefs and not a real attempt to grapple with pre-modern wisdom poetry.

Which, it needs to be said, was not written in the first case as the Literal Word of God.  The whole Literal Word of God take on the 66 books of the Protestant canon is itself a bit of folk religion that sprung from a certain place and time.

That’s not even what Proverbs 16:9 says. I was curious because that shit sounds like a stupid cop-out for anything.

What it actually says is this:

“A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.” - KJV

Or if you prefer:

“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” -NIV

I’m not sure how you get from that to that bullshit cowboy meme post, but if someone is a Christian, perhaps they shouldn’t post memes with a scripture reference and quotations as if to suggest that is the exact word of god, when that is not at all what the Bible says.

Bartender: “Haven’t seen y’all in a while. Where’s your boy Paul?”

II Corinthians: “He ghosted us after his third letter.”

Bartender: “There was a third letter?”

II Corinthians: "Ya, but it didn’t make canon.”

Bartender: “Harsh.”

II Corinthians: "Tell me about it - guy, really lost his head after that.”
