I always got a chuckle out of the "Best Academics in the SEC" part.  Uh . . . y'all take Blinndergarten "graduates".  Vandy's rejects go to Stanford.

Not to mention Florida & Georgia being ranked way above A&M.

No team can catch us on SEC championships this year. We’ll have the most SEC championships of any program in our first year in the SEC. Hahhahah

That's only because Texas had the world's easiest schedule in all those sports. - texags and sec rant

That begs the question - why is the SEC filled with such easy schedules?

Well, because we played Texas ATM…

Our schedules are always easy because we never have to play Texas.

Not to mention their open campaign to preventTexas from joining the SEC because they were afraid of being Little Brother again.

Narrator: They never stopped being little brother.

Refresh my aging memory please.   Who paid for this?  The aggy administration?  Or the association of former aggy?

I’d be in to put this on a digital billboard in Collie Station.

Unfortunately I can’t recall if the responsible party was ever outed.

I'm not sure you can refer to someone who would do that as "responsible" in any way.

There are some clear indications on the billboard itself. It doesn't say Texas A&M anywhere on the sign. Aggie nation and Whoop are the only things that clearly align it to aggie, but are broad enough that it wouldn't be an infringement of IP I'm guessing. (Surly lawyers?) So, it whoever did it appears to be avoiding getting hammered by the infringement of aggie IP. They also didn't use SEC logo, just letters SEC. So, my guess is someone aligned to, but not directly part of aggie. Feels very much like something Texags might do.

Oh, I have no doubts as to the pedigree of the source, but dunno which mutt (Texags, 12th Man Foundation, TAMU, Buc-EE’s or the A&M athletic department).
Probably the same nabobs who propagated these….

Neither one of those, guaranteed.

That would be awesome on a video billboard over the summer.

They were, and left the message board they frequented quite often when they were initially doxxed over it. If they want to bring it up again, I'll let them do so. I don't want to out them as they may not comfortable with the attention again.

Not arguing who/what did it, rather playing on irresponsibility. PM Janet Reno...

I'm honestly shocked that the creator of this pulled it off without a typo...

And they put that sign up in Gainsville.

They gotta do it once more

On the heels of the preseason #1 ranked men’s baseball team likely not making the NCAAT, the overall #1 seed in softball has never not made it out of the regionals before

Would be some diamond history for both teams

aggy has already become the first ever overall #1 seed to NOT start 2-0.

Hey guys, I’ve been thinking that we need to raise the spirit of Longhorn fans for the big game next November against the Aggies. How about something like a giant bonfire to symbolize our burning desire to beat the Aggies?

We could have it erected by students on the rec fields north of campus. It would be neat to go for the record of the largest bonfire ever created. Students could skip class to work on it, and if some wanted to drink while operating cranes, etc, that would just make it more fun.

I don’t think the engineering students, construction professionals or professors would need to supervise the construction. Leaders appointed by the students w no construction experience should suffice. This should be a school-sanctioned event but safety protocols that normally govern all activities should be ignored in the interest this new tradition. However, the school should be absolved of liability if anything goes wrong,

Who’s with me?

Why don’t we just take their bonfire?

What would they do about it?

You think the 12th Man Foundation would support Surly?
Bold concept.

Well, if they knew imma was an aggy, they’d damn sure support his business. Then they’d try to claim all of the Longhorns victories.

Some of you have been around long enough that you should absolutely know the answers to these questions.
