Yep. A little obvious.

I’ve pretty much concluded someone on that ref team is on the take.

It's because they're playing Georgia. No SEC team gets more obvious bias and favouritism from the refs than Georgia.

Not difficult to predict what’s going down in Athens in two weeks.

That was bad though. Type of shit that makes you question everything. What the fuck was that 2 pt conversion?

Yep

4 angles of it not getting there too and they just said fuck it

Call on the field is the most important thing in reviews. Get it wrong the first time, it’s pretty hard to change the call

Almost wish refs could just say “we don’t know, we need to review first”

In real time, you see a player stretch out and dont come close to pile-on as you reach for it, makes no sense to give it to them.

Then the bad call stands bc they can say anything they want about the replay. Case in point: the angle of the pylon cam lol

Bro if they don’t call anything that just isn’t going to work man. They need to call it on the field.

If they want to rig it they will rig it either way. If they want to be honest and competent they will change the call on review.

big call for Florida in the Cocktail party, DJ was down they called em down

reviewed it and upheld

Tech just had a receiver reach the entire ball over the goal line on a dive before the ball and the player hit the ground, and had it called down and upheld by replay. Just wild.

Its all over, just no the sec, they need to get espn and all their gambling out of the sport. So bad.

Good luck with that. Y'all ever see that youtuber "coffeezilla" talk about how the online gambling industry has gotten its hooks into got-damn everything? It's fucked up, and it's not going away.

I’ll take the ref who called the 2pt conversion good for $100

I mean, yeah. Sometimes a call is made but you can't actually see if it's correct due to a pile of bodies.

This one seemed crystal clear though. There wasn't any angle that made it look like it was correct. And the pylon cam was pretty definitive.

We said at the time in the stands that the stripes must have bet the other way....  There was no other explanation after that 2 pt fuck-up.  Some Chicago Black Sox BS.

The SEC can fist its own asshole for stealing the joy of an otherwise great game.  We should all be talking about how much better the pass blocking was, how sharp Arch was, how CJ and Tre had some good runs, and how solid the playcalling was.  We should be feeling good with two weeks to get ready for Athens.

Instead, we're all pissy even though we just got our second biggest win of the year, because it was that close to being stolen from us after we built a 24-point lead.  They almost tanked our entire season.

Either the SEC fires those bums, or it's complicit in that bullshit.

Well officials stole what should have been a TD,  buried our offense with phantom calls, and aided their offense by ignoring delay of game penalties, allowing them to hold and tackle, and interfere without penalty and it was particularly egregious at the end of the game.  The 2 point conversion was just the perfect video review because it shows how unquestionably biased they were about manipulating the score.

The godawful no defender anywhere near the qb on the pavia romp to the end zone was bullshit.

Consistently pro-Georgia and anti-Texas.

All we can hope is that if it’s close they think “well 2 loss Texas and 2 loss Georgia would both in the playoffs so let’s not give all the calls to Georgia”.

This thread is about officiating, not defense.

The rest of the SEC teams outside of Georgia and Bama needs to band together and demand ACC-like accountability and transparency. We will all get screwed (Vandy included even though we got hosed by the refs) next year to keep the Bama v Georgia bullshit “rematch” in the CCG every year, we will all get hosed to keep that bullshit going, Jmo.

Such an embarrassment, this shit is worse than Ken Mar and the Big 12

Maybe not that bad?  Recall the 2022 Okie State game we got called for 100 yards in penalties while Okie State had ZERO.    That was a Kevin Mar crew

But it was pretty obvious something shady occurred in this Vandy game.
