The Irish guy pretending to be Mexican so he can scream “institutional racism”at Americans who want their Second Amendment preserved while their police are defunded and their cities are burned?

I’m sure he’s wildly popular here.

Gotta admire his political chops, though. Sure knows how to gin up his base.emoji23.png

Yeah but she was eerily exact in her prescience. Remarkable.

Yeah, anyone who has had a narcissist in their family knows this.  It is part of the definition of a narcissist.  Nothing is ever their fault and every success is due to their superior talent/intellect/strategy.

This is actually important. The Trumpers are all over social media with all kinds of [fake] “proof” of fraud. Cool, cool. So, the time to roll that proof out is when you go to court. In court, they call it “evidence.” They should have some when they go there.

Yet they don’t. In case after case....they don’t. When it comes time to put up or shut up....they should shut up.

Also important. Occam’s razor and shit.

I mean, he did call for Trump to decapitate his enemies on the air.

Agreed. Although, it seems that national party gave a bit more attention her way. Texas has been ignored for a very long time. Beto still moved the ball a lot.

And there’s also demographic differences .

Georgia - 32% Black
Texas - 12% Black

And Georgia doesn’t have the additional complications of being on the border with a very large Hispanic population.

The size of Texas can bring good and bad.

Texas has the advantage of more big urban centers compared to just the one for Atlanta.

Texas is a much more complicated nut to crack. I don’t think what works in Georgia is necessarily what works in Texas.

And that’s the DNC’s problem and a problem with the takes from folks like AOC this week - what works in her district would get her blown the fuck out in almost all districts in both Georgia and Texas.

The DNC has to be willing to cede some control to local operatives when it comes to planning and strategy. And in the case of Texas it’s probably going to be even more micro than that - what works in Houston is going to be different from what works in El Paso and Austin. They can’t take the success of the AOC’s and The Squad and use that blueprint in purple districts or blue districts in red states.

The progressives and the centrists are going to have to respect each other’s knowledge of their own constituencies and each side is going to have to give on National messaging.

It’s not going to be easy but that’s what happens when you’re the big tent.

I mean his schtick is going to work on his followers. A whole host of them think pizza places are fronts for child pedo rings and that Trump is going to root all child slavery rings.

You're leaving out the best part: The part where Trump himself was good friends with an actual, known pedophile ring lead:

Everything they (falsely) accuse us of, they are (actually) guilty of themselves.

Dems spent a shit ton of money on this election and can't really say it paid off in the Senate or House.

Will need a new strategy for GA beyond relying solely on a money dump.

Biden should lay out his immediate plans for the House/Senate if he gets those two seats...Tax reform, election reform, student loan relief, stimulus, etc.

JFC, this sim has been left with almost nothing that's actually believable.  WTF is going on?

Have you ever heard of Fitlump?

Because she's in a runoff for a seat on the Austin City Council.  Because it's 2020.

Santorum is such a cuck. Says you need evidence, but keeps trying his best to push back to support dear leader. Just grow a pair you fucking piece of shit.

I keep wanting Van Jones to stand up and beat the fuck out of him.

We've been waiting on that from him for 4 years.

They walked in to the biggest casino in Vegas with a brand new, completely undetectable strategy for counting cards and... deliberately decided to underperform the statistical odds that the polls gave them at just about every table.

Yeah, that was a little ham handed.  Just trying to illustrate that Santorum is a lying piece of shit garbage human, who if he told me water was wet, I would need verification elsewhere.

earlier when discussing people showing up to protest in arizona...with guns, santorum's reply was "well it's an open carry state, so they're allowed to have guns."

i'm really tired of half the country thinking this type of response is an actual response.

Clayton County, GA really leaning into the "nobody wants to be the one to officially end this race." Apparently releasing their final 5K ballots a few hundred at a time. Trump down from 1710 to 1287 now after a mini-batch.

So this tweet someone posted earlier was correct not just in terms of style, but actual number of ballots coming in at a time.

Dems spent $200mn in vanity senate races in South Carolina and Kentucky. That could have won a lot of other races.

Counterpoint:  Those races, plus quite a few others, made Republicans spend money in states that they normally wouldn't have to, depriving other states/races of Republican money.

my interest has waned at this point so i will let you finish the discussion.

It's all good.  You make reasonable points that I don't disagree with, although you extend quite a bit into putting words in my mouth that are not accurate or faior. Just maybe wish that some of the reasonable posters like you and Huck would have been able to find your voice of moderation on this stuff while all of the extreme nonsense was playing out in real time around here.

So a question about Pa: The Pa supreme court, due to a lawsuit filed by dems before the election, said that they could count mail in votes received three days after the election (the law said they have to arrive by election day). SCOTUS didn't grant a cert, so the state supreme court ruling is currently being followed.

Question: I believe the mail ins received after election day have been segregated. Are those ballots being counted, and if so, are they showing up in the totals. In other words, if the supreme court, now with barret, decides to overrule the PA supreme court, will that change the numbers I'm seeing on the TV right now, which would probably hurt Biden?

Anybody?

Here's how it works:  If Trump is ahead, they won't be counted.  If Trump is behind, they will be counted.

I generally try to ignore idiocy and don't jump in to threads and discussions that are already irredeemably lost. Doing so would simply give them more fuel instead of letting them burn themselves out. Which is exactly why it irritates me that you are personally responsible for half the effort to keep that shit alive around here.

This right here.  I am listening to Santorum saying he is getting tons of people sending him proof of fraud.  He won’t say what just that he is seeing proof.  If I could launch 100 people from earth into the sun I am pretty sure he makes the list.
Just remember that OU has a roster of 85, plus coaching staff.

Saw a lot of commentary that this probably proved counter-productive in a lot of potentially competitive races in GOP states. Incumbents were able to lean into the "Now, my radical opponent over is backed by liberal socialist billionaires from CA & NY. Now why do ya suppose they pokin' their nose in this race, ya reckon?
