Just what a pussy libtard would say.  Real men believing in shitting on one of the core Constitutional rights and hurting people for their photo ops.  That's what a manly man does.

LOL, I mean look I am under no illusions that both sides are going to pander, and both sides are going to find ways to fuck people but at this point at least one side appears willing to use lube.  You could boil shit down to that....vote for these guys, they will use lube.

Secret service iirc.

You're either being inadvertently but presciently snarky, or you have a vague recollection of me talking about my uncle, who was part of Nixon's Secret Service detail.

At any rate, I wasn't thinking of him.  He left the picture soon after my aunt figured out he was having an affair with . . . a Nixon.  I was probably 12 at the time.

No, I wasn't being snarky.  I remember you talking about who he was assigned to. I didn't remember the other part though.

Possible motives for posting this tweet: a) You truly believe this is a valid point, or b) you're trolling over public political gestures as a response to a man's murder by the State. Either way, there's something deeply wrong with you, and you should seriously consider self-reflection.

There's more than one thing deeply wrong with him.

Interesting follow-on csb:  early in Carter's administration, he was with us on a tour of the White House, and took us on a side trip to just outside the Oval Office.  By that time he was "management".  He had my sis and I wait in the Cabinet Room (which is surprisingly small, it's like a dining room), while he talked to Carter's Secret Service detail to see if we could meet Carter.  No dice.  My uncle's rank didn't matter, those guys were by the book and it wasn't happening.  He did introduce us to Nixon years earlier, though.

Media: "Photo op!"

Um, it was the very definition of a photo op. They walked across the street, took a few pictures, didn't say anything, and walked back. It was literally an opportunity to take a photo.

he also led the entire wh press corps there and didn’t take questions.

he said he was going to pay respects, so he must’ve done that in his head while he posed.

Carrie Maxwell of Bakersfield, California, had grown very disturbed by the sound of protesters near her home on June 5th. She could hear “profanities” being yelled as protesters marching against police brutality and racism engaged with Trump-flag waving counter-protesters and grew frustrated when police said there was nothing they could do.

The average beat cop wasn't hyper-militarized.  There's a reason Barney Fife only got to carry one bullet on "The Andy Griffith Show".

Okay this made me laugh.

Dude, come on. That was fiction and comedy at that. There's a reason the LA cops, and really cops all over the country, used to drive Jack Webb home instead of arresting him when he was completely blacked out plastered drunk swerving over the roads all the time. His dragnet series was nothing but a huge propaganda tool for the cops to cover for the horrible shit they were doing in reality.

Cops have always been this bad. Unless you were Black or Mexican you just didn't know it.

I just think it's going to be an orgy of records destruction, staff reassignments, lack of serious transition planning, illegal executive orders, misappropriated funds, etc. They'll do as much policy damage as possible, then change the locks and lose the keys, rhetorically speaking.  A ton of staff will attempt to burrow in or just flat refuse to resign as is customary and force Biden to physically fire and remove them from the premises. The Biden folks are going to walk into a trashed house.

Well, it's not like the Biden people are going to want to use anything from the Trump administration.  They'll be starting from scratch either way.

Her lawyer's apology is incredibly hollow.

Quote

“I want to offer my sincerest apology to anyone who was hurt by my behavior in that video.

My behavior was never intended in any way to diminish this important time in the life of our country. Like everyone else, I was horrified by the video of the murder of George Floyd. every man, woman, and child deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and equality, regardless of the color of their skin, and every person deserves to live a life free of fear.

What you saw in that video was a captured moment of my anxiety, frustration, and panic for the safety of my family. I am the caretaker for my 18-year-old autistic son and my elderly mother who has COPD and is extremely vulnerable to health complications. I had seen news coverage of the protests turning into riots across the country and was aware that the protest near my home had turned to confrontation the day before. When I heard protesters gathering near my home, loudly chanting profanities, I became overwhelmed with anxiety and fear. I called the police and was told there was nothing they could do. I went out to ask the protesters to move the protest away from my home. This was not shown on the video that was posted. there was a woman who became confrontational and I responded in a inappropriate manner. I never intended to cause fear. i never spoke to or threatened this woman’s daughter. I have never even been in a physical altercation in my life.”

LMAO.  So you are charged with a super high profile felony with the entire nation screaming for you to be locked away for years and your family decides to hire retarded Cornel Sanders  to defend you???  His family must hate him.  Out of the 4 cops this rookie has the best defense but he’s pissing it away.

There is a second video where she tells protesters to 'go back where you come from - leave America' and that her son 'is going to shoot you in the head'.  No word if this is the severely autistic son or a different one.

I got a football recruiting letter from Sacred Heart. When coach asked if I was interested, I said "I'd rather go to UT and get too fat for girls to be interested anymore," and that's exactly what I did.

Follow your dreams.

Odds that he regularly cries while masturbating to black on white porn?

I presume the odds are even higher that it's gay black on white porn?

There's so much damned self-loathing among that sort of crowd.

Because he's terrified.  He sees that white America will soon no longer represent the majority, and it has rustled his racist jimmies.

Houston stories...Joe Campos Torres, beating halfway to death and tossed in the bayou, where he drowned...Ida Delaney, murdered by a drunk off duty cop in a road rage incident.

Delaney's killer got 7 years:

My dad got busted with half a pound of weed in 1973...By the time his case came up, seven ounces had disappeared into thin air...I've personally had cops casually say "nigger" in front of me twice, so I was far from shocked by the Mark Fuhrman testimony; in fact, I was surprised that anyone else was surprised....Back in the early '50s, there was a huge scandal when it came to light a few of Houston's top cops were heavily involved in the city's heroin trade...That case culminated with the mysterious "suicide" of a high-ranking cop / witness in his own office at 61 Riesner St...

Cops were different back then my ass...

latest?cb=20101119173021

Then there is “the Family” in APD in the 80s and early 90s. How bad that really goes may never be fully known. I will give Art Acevedo some credit for cleaning up a lot of that shit. Then he suddenly left...

I'm old enough to remember when passing a bad check meant you just got it pinned up at the bodega.  Easily remedied by having a rooster take a dive in a cock fight.

But seriously, fuck these people.
