Is 77-0 in 2003 considered this generation? If so, seems like it might want to have a word with Doug.

Nowhere close. That was No. 1 OU, playing at OU, and a single loss. The Missouri debacle was against the worst conference team, playing at A&M, with a consensus pre-season #1 rank team, and 3 consecutive losses. It would be like losing to the 2003 0-8 ISU football team at home, three consecutive times, while having top 5 talent.

Or like losing to a 6-6 Appalachian State squad that finished 9th in the Sun Belt standings. At home.

What about losing to Arkansas State in the season opener?

I mean it's gotta be hard to win at Iowa, but he hasn't won that much. Nothing significant, anyway.

Counterpoint- tell me anywhere besides a pee wee game where you saw a running clock, and remember that oklahoma didn't try to score the last 17 minutes of the game and the clock ran the whole 4th quarter.  It could have easily been 105 -0. It was the biggest can of quit I've ever seen in a major college football game

Doug Keegan? He’s a certified redass aggie. He used to wear the same shoes as the yell leaders back in the day. Guess he’s sick of the underperformance.

The one glaring issue here is that losers don’t get their dick sucked.

True. Losers finish in the shower.

I kind of forgot with that last image how they were selling the shit out of SEC. The logo was everywhere.

The premier in state SEC program!

Now the secondary in state SEC program.

He had exactly one top 10 finish in his career. Even Ferentz has managed 5 of those since 2000.

Pure entertainment points gotta count for something and Ferentz has never been awarded an entertainment point.

https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/pop-isaacs-signs-with-texas-a-m-former-creighton-guard-flips-after-initial-houston-commitment/

Pop Isaacs is on the move — again. The former Creighton basketball guard, who initially signed with Houston in April, has now signed with Texas A&M, according to Chris Hummer and Matt Zenitz. Isaacs holds one year remaining of eligibility after beginning his college career at Texas Tech, where he played two seasons before transferring to Creighton.

More than that.  Usually in an ass kicking like that there are a lot of turnovers, short field, defensive and special teams scores.  Nope.  Not this game. This was A&M going three and out, punting, and OU driving down the field for a touchdown.  They did that 11 times in a row until there was 3 minutes left in the third quarter with first, second, and third teamers.  Then they put in the scout team to run fullback dives with a running clock.

A&M's best drive of the day went to the A&M 39.  So they never made it within 10 yards of midfield.

What's crazy is like on the first or second play of the game, Reggie McNeal threw a beautiful deep ball down the sideline to A&M receiver D'qwan Mobley.  He had two steps and was hit in stride.  And just dropped it.  Would have been 7-0 A&M.

It was an ass whipping for the ages to be sure. That was Torbush's(rest in peace) first year at aggy and the gif that made his last name an expression of shock was from the Utah game the next year, I wonder how he made it though that game...

Solid recounting that’s often overlooked/not remembered. It was a complete and total dismantling, the only thing I can think of would be like playing tecmo Super Bowl and guessing the opponents play EVERY time on defense. Just complete fucking domination.

Charlottesville to College Station would be a slight cultural adjustment.

As someone who lives in the former and grew up in the latter, I'd prefer something different from both.

We tried to dye the fountain on campus maroon but we didn't buy enough dye so there were only three small maroon spots that quickly diluted while we slinked away in embarrassment. Makes for a great memory!

How awful, Mandatory attendance if you live within  300 miles and no tickets to the game.  HOW DARE they treat our men and women who fight for this country like this.

I always hated their little march of occupation during the Thanksgiving holiday. I am perfectly fine with this tradition ending. You know, for the sake of the poor corps turds of course.

Wrong ya stoopid sip, it says "for all cadets who live within a 300 mile radius within Austin."  So if the gomers are outside of the 300 mile radius within Austin, they can continue with their sheep fornications.
