Nerds over on Reddit uncovered additional good news re: Ewers

Student took picture with him yesterday, notice the lack of brace

disclaimer: picture is mirror image so he’s throwing the horns with his right arm

Ewers has a nice, patchy Taliban beard that will strike fear in the hearts of our opponents.

You mean the guy who came out in warm ups last weekend without a brace and threw the ball too? Thank god for the nerds on Reddit.

Our kicking might be a rollercoaster, but returning and blocking are strengths. Special teams might be fun.

Both of Auburn's misses were not 100% his fault. Shitty hold and Bama partially blocked the other. He has been nails. Trejo has been nails punting as well. Coverage teams have been really good. The only issue was the onside kick.

I think Ewers was even practicing at the end of last week.

Sark's comment about "the QBs weren't all at practice last Monday" seemed to imply they returned later in the week. It just looks like the 9.95 once again whiffed on the severity of an injury.

the literature on SC injuries is serious business

however.....

i could not find any timeline for recovery other than pain management

maybe his new name should be Steve Austin

better, faster, stronger

Wait Tim Beck is at NC State?

Well I was kind of worried Tech had a good-ish defense finally, but just like BO'B, they make opposing defenses look a lot better than they probably are.

I had to look this up. Yeah, I'll believe Tech's defense is good when I see it.

We’re going to beat Tech by 30.  This is our 2004 season, and Quinn is our Vince (who beat tech in Lubbock by 30 in 2004).  Next year is 2005, baby.

This ain't our 2004 offensive line, and this ain't our 2004 defense.  I think we beat Tech, but not by anywhere close to 30.

I would bet that you will never see our kickoff return team retreat again so quickly.
