The below is long but I copied it from someone I know who just posted this shit on Facebook.  Shit like the below is why this country is screwed.  Many of you will say this person is a racist or Fascist but I just think they are just brainwashed by the media and believe this shit.  We seem to be in the middle of a giant psychological experiment in this country and seeing what TV/Radio and social media can do to people’s brains and it’s frightening.   Below is why people continue to vote for Trump even though pretty much everything in there is false and laughable if it didn’t piss me off and frighten me at the gullibility of people in this country to believe anything they see or hear.  Also, the below will be copied and pasted a million times on Facebook and other places and it will convince people to vote for Trump that may not have.  It probably swings more votes than a TV ad at this point.

“Someone recently asked me why I like Trump. My answer was that I don't really like a lot of things about Trump.

He’s not my pastor or spiritual leader. I’m voting for a platform. But this election is not about choosing the most likeable person.

We are voting between two vastly different ideologies. We are voting for the country we want to leave our children and grandchildren.

Trump represents that future and has proven that he can deliver. He is a patriot to the core and even served his country for 4 years without pay.

That moment when someone says,
"I can't believe you're voting for Trump". I simply reply, “I'm NOT voting for Trump.”

I'm voting for the First Amendment and freedom of speech. I'm voting for the right to speak my opinion and not be censored.

I’m voting for secure borders and LEGAL immigration. I am voting for election integrity to include mandatory voter ID.  (Why would anyone vote against this?)

I'm voting for the Second Amendment and my right to defend my life and my family.

I'm voting for the police to be respected once again.

I am voting for law & order and an end to allowing protesters to trespass and burn our cities, destroying innocent small business. (Tim Walz)

I am voting for personal responsibility and the end of the revolving door where criminals are being put back on the street. (Kamala Harris)

I'm voting for the next Supreme Court Justice(s) to protect the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

I’m voting for a return of our troops from foreign countries and the end to America’s involvement in foreign conflicts.

I'm voting for the Electoral College and for the Republic in which we live.

I’m voting for the continued appointment of Federal Judges who respect the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

I’m voting for keeping our jobs to remain in America and not be outsourced all over the world - to China, Mexico and other foreign countries.

I am voting for doing away with all of the freebies given to all of the illegals and not looking after the needs of the American citizens and homeless veterans.

I'm voting for the military & the veterans who fought for this country

I'm voting to keep men out of women's sports.

I’m voting for peace progress in the Middle East.

I’m voting to fight against human/child trafficking.

I'm voting for Freedom of Religion.

I am voting for the return of teaching math, history, and science instead of the indoctrination of our children.

I'm not just voting for one person.
I'm voting for the future of my Country.

I'm voting for my children and my grandchildren to ensure their freedoms

America is the greatest country in the world, hense why everyone wants to immigrate here. So why do you want to change it?

Why do politicians want to enact policies that have failed in other countries throughout history?

I'm not voting for Trump.
I'm voting for America.”

The 80's called and they want their chainmail back.

I couldn’t disagree with you more, respectfully.  I think people read that shit, grab on to the issue that scares them and end up voting based on shit like this.  I think the bigger question is who wrote it?  I mean, your average Facebook person didn’t take the time to write that nor are they capable.  I am guessing that trumps campaign, or a PAC supporting Trump writes stuff like this, puts it on their fake Facebook entity account and it spreads like wildfire.  It’s a pretty smart way to spread disinformation sadly and should be illegal.

Oh, and by not reading it you missed that Trump will get schools focused on math and science (nothing about bringing religion into schools) and get more judges and Supreme Court justices on the courts to uphold the constitution (total bullshit).  I am surprised it didn’t say he will protect women’s reproductive rights since if it’s in a Facebook post it must be true.

Yeah. Had someone PM me that. Told them I wasn’t interested in some cut and paste bullshit but they could call me and we could discuss each issue if they wanted. Never called.

Members of cults do not listen to or understand reasoning and facts.  There's nothing you can do or say to this person to change their mind.  They are ignorant and brainwashed.

I would argue the problem is they believe that Fox News and Trump and others have told them they can fix these issues and the other side is against them.  Totally untrue but if Fox News says it then it must be true.

How many of those dipshits had any chance of ever voting for Harris-Walz?  Zero.

It's a non-factor.

I missed Walz's security details on Sunday, but then again it wasn't hard to do. It was the second-busiest day in the history of the Minnesota State Fair, 256,015 people went through the gates. Place was PACKED PACKED PACKED.

The person who tagged me in that fb post voted for Obama, then Hillary Clinton, then Biden. It was a combination of inflation, the border, and the moral panics about trans athletes and CRT that put him over. Curiously, despite voting for Biden and  Democrats in Texas until recently they also became convinced that Biden and Democrats stole the 2020 election.

This is a retired person who is otherwise quite smart, very accomplished, a dedicated conservationist and a good old guy, but he and his peer group are vulnerable to social media and cable news propaganda techniques, and his brain has been poisoned.

When my relatives or friends post that kind of shit, I usually respond with some variation of  "Who would be dumb enough to believe that?  Are people really falling for this kind of stuff here in 2024?" and then just leave it at that - don't argue or debate.

Some/many will ignore what I said, but there will be some who have known me for decades, and who in the back of their minds, are going to be asking themselves why I would say that. People don't like to be known as suckers or be mocked for believing stuff.  Will it change votes?  For most, no, but it might cause some to stop spreading that shit or at least question it a little bit.

If you try to argue or debate people over that stuff, that is exactly what they are wanting - they want to validate their beliefs.  Just implying that they fell for something, and at the same time acting like it's not worth your time to debate/argue with them is going to bug the shit out of some of them.

Then there's nothing you can do to combat that. It's like Prong Horn with Twitter. People who willing fall for social media bullshit cannot be reasoned with. That only option is to fully remove the vessel that's feeding them a steady diet of outrage porn. Social media is now the Fox News of our day. No amount of research, facts, anecdotes, or proof is going to change the minds of people who only see what they want to see. These guys look and they see threats everywhere. They see something they can hate and fear. Hate is a huge motivator.

Far from it, it’s counting NC as safe then pushing all in on ga/pa for the win. It’s better than a punchers chance considering 20 margins in those states

The traitors believe if they win PA, they'll likely win it all. That's why they're spending a higher % of available funds there. I don't know what's changed in PA to make them think they have a good chance there.

Silver or someone like that tweeted that the winner of PA has a 90%+ chance of winning it all.

They know they're not winning WI or MI so PA is their only hope.

Narrator:  They're not winning PA.

These are reservations for future time.  Trump campaign / PACs are buying week to week slots at much higher rates than if they booked ahead.

This poll came up yesterday

Turns out someone came out on Xitter and said they signed up as a voter from AZ and picked Chase Oliver and Lake and the polling company just ran with it.  Nate also lied and confirmed the app doesn't verify.

Willie Horton was part of a state furlough program, but Bush was able to hang him around Dukakis’ neck. Harris ought put this on blast, along with the question: how much was Trump paid to let this pos strangle his wife?

Trump's campaign will just answer with stories of migrants killing young white women and blaming that on Border Czar Kamala. It's a lose-lose proposition.
