I literally can't imagine a bigger loser snowflake than an NFL fan that picks up his phone to shitpost about Taylor Swift. Almost as bad as someone who sucks dick for meth, not that anyone that posts here would ever do that.

Hey, what happens between Macklemore's rants about loving the stupids of the SEC and how evil Taylor Swift is, is his business!  No judging!

If Kyle Shannahan wins this Super Bowl though, expect to see him in an orange jacket next season at DKR.

I haven’t made a single post about Taylor Swift. I don’t give a shit about her. You have made several long posts attacking anti Taylor Swift strawmen on the Super Bowl thread. That’s why I negged you — I want to read about the matchup between these teams. I also negged your unhinged rants about the academic quality of SEC schools. The SEC is far superior academically to the XII but don’t let facts get in the way of your hot air.

No, you're right about that.  As an aggregate, because of Florida and Vandy a couple others---as a whole it's an academically superior conference compared to the Big XII (especially with our new dipshit diploma mill members like UCF and Cincy and Houston).  Never mind the other glorified community colleges we're leaving behind.  But yeah, we're trading 6 of one for half dozen of the other.  But I guess the TV money will be sweet.  You're on point about that.  I guess I was speaking as more of an amalgamation of academics, culture, and politics that we don't quite fit with.  But a University of size and prowess, nothing's really gonna fit our mold except maybe that Pac-10/12.  But that's obviously not an option anymore...

As for Taylor Swift and Super Bowl talk.  I'm totally content to hang back and read y'all's insight into the actual game itself but the silence is deafening when it comes to actual X's and O's.  I don't give fuck one personally, either way a prominent Longhorn gets a ring to show off at Moncrief.  But delete all my posts on this thread and we're still left 5 pages of almost zero football insight and mainly bitching about Taylor (not you directly, but in the collective).

Me neither, but it’s still fun to watch. It’s a long time until fall.

I'm pulling KC simply because Mahomes played his high school ball just up the road for me and Omenihu.

NFL said they have the best turf crew on for the field this time.  Which would be hilarious if it was the fake stuff.  I’m just assuming real…

I had read somewhere it's real. Isn't tat the stadium that is on a "tray" and they roll it in and out? Don't remember where I read the article, only that there's tons of complaints already about the playing surface.

Supposedly Jerry had a grass field for ATT that was going to be for Mexican soccer but I don’t think it ever got used.
There was a time when I cared about the 9'ers having more Lombardi trophies than the Boys. Jerry killed that as well.

I think the wrong team is favored here. The Chiefs have been playing much better than they were during their mid season doldrums, and SF didn't impress me in either playoff game.

I see why Washington dumped Chase Young. He should be killing it with Bosa on the other side. At least in the first half vs Detroit he seemed like a total non factor.

I think the Chiefs D is better than SF's and I like them to win 27-19.

I completely agree with this.

The KC defense will be the difference in this game.

IIRC, having a grass field was a stipulation the Raiders insisted on for the Roomba, I believe UNLV plays on the fake stuff.

I dunno where else to put this but Brent Musberger should be in the hall of fame. They will be running a special about the beginnings of Inside the NFL before the game on Sunday.

Agree. Both the NFL Hall of Fame and the Degenerate Hall of Fame.  The man likes his drinks and his wagers, and that makes him a-ok with me.

honestly, I'd rather look at Tay Tay than another goddamned insurance commercial.

Or any of the other crap on that list.

Also, my 13 yr old daughter is having a super bowl watch party with some of her friends. I'll let you geniuses figure out why.

Imagine having your day ruined by a politically annoying fake blonde-haired person with shitty makeup taking up screen time, attention whoring, and not knowing what the fuck they're talking about?

Well, now you know how 65% of the country feels.

Go Omenihu, go Shanahan!  Either way, UT wins!

I think they probably go ahead and okay the game around 5:30/6:00p-CST.  None of us are to blame for the pre game silliness.  I’m just, As a Christian man of service to make sure that we do a well check on fellow posters whom are butt hurt that two famous; attractive people sometimes kiss on TV and then have the audacity to encourage younger folks to exercise their political freedoms.

Yea I don't get the Devin Hester thing AT ALL.  255 career catches for 3,311 yards.  Throw on 36 carries for 116 yards and 17 total TDs between the two.  Yes, he had 19 punt and kickoff return TDs but 11 of those were in his first two seasons and then 8 more over the next 9 seasons.  The reality is he had 4 good seasons as a returner.  2006 and 2007 and then a bit of a resurgence in 2010 and 2011.  The rest of his years were just run-of-the-mill do what a returner do kind of thing.  4 out of 11 seasons as a great specialist when you never significantly contributed in other areas, have 36 total NFL TDs and accounted for an average of 647 AP yards a season doesn't seem remotely HOF worthy.

Just play the game
We are all sick of the hype, analysis, Swift, Purdy v. Mahomes, halftime show, etc . Play the fucking game and sadly let football end for the season (sorry Rock)
This is what happens with 2 weeks between the conference championship weekend. Run out of stuff to talk about.

I heard him described this way and for this I can at least see the argument - "He was the greatest player ever at his position".
