Right?!

Honestly, I don't remember where I found the guitar solo pic, but here's him playing the piano.

Oh, and the way his hair magically gets longer when he plays guitar.  And also the way he flips his guitar over to play lefthanded.  I need to work on that one.

Yes, it's fake. There is no way Donald has this much energy, nor strength to hold a guitar.

Yup. It was the luxurious hair rather than the typical cotton candy combover that might have been a clue as well

It's not the fact that at Springsteen, Swift, Oprah, etc supported Harris.

It pisses him off that the only celebs he can get are C and D listers, or those who's heyday was in the Carter/Reagan years.

Also, 1:34 am and this is what is on the mind of the President.

So, all through undergrad, I called my profs "doctor," and so did everyone else.  I tend to call expert witnesses "doctor" also, which is the only non-personal contact I have with PhDs.

It took some adjustment not to call law school profs doctor.

The whole "Dr. Jill Biden" thing is a scam that works on people who've never met a PhD.

I called my undergrad non-PhD professors "professor."  I think I only had a few college professors who had a PhD.  So it wasn't really an adjustment to call my law school professors "professor" when none of them had a PhD.

But yeah, referring to her as Dr. Jill, when he knows she has a PhD in education and not an MD, in a conspiratorial comment about Joe's medical diagnosis, is another shitty aspect of Coke Head's tweet.

Where was that?  I only had one who DIDN'T have a PhD, and he was like 90 years old.

University of Texas.  I was in the College of Liberal Arts if that makes a difference.  But after I read your post, I looked up two of my favorite professors (who remarkably are still there almost 30 years after I graduated), and they in fact have PhD's.  I'm not sure if they had their doctorates at the time I was in school, but I'm all but certain the students addressed them as "Professor."

Yeah, my dad (PhD professor) taught me that "professor" is universal enough, but to never use "doctor" for a non-PhD.

Yep.  My the technical term of my graduate degree is a "Doctor of Jurisprudence," but I've never heard of a lawyer going by or referring to themselves as "Doctor."  And while I don't have any personal familiarity with the PhD track, my understand has always been that it's a hell of a lot hard to get a PhD than a JD.

in my work environment, I have to interact with both MDs (& DOs) as well as PhDs. I call the medical doctors, Dr. + last name, and the PhDs by their first name. If I were to introduce to them to anyone, I follow the same format.

I get the impression that some of the medical doctors could care less if you address them by Dr. but a few do. I don't want to bother trying to remember which ones care and which ones don't.

Another issue with non-medical doctorates is that there is a wide range of credibility statuses with those programs. I don't want to get involved into wondering which ones are universally recognized or credentialed and which ones are not.

That is correct.  Both of my parents were college professors.  My mother has a PhD and my father has a Master's in architecture (most of them do not get a PhD unless they're doing research or something).  They were both full professors, but my mother is Dr. and my father is not.

Yup for me, but the opposite.  Mom taught college English now and again but only had a masters degree.  She had to correct students often.

It speaks volumes about the way this guy's mind works that he thinks hiring a musician to play at an event *and actually paying them for it* is some sort of violation.  He can't even comprehend that the powerful politician made a financial agreement and honored it.  It's so foreign to him that there must be something weird going on.

Dumbass, if he'd played the event for free, *that* would have been an endorsement.  And, guess what, that's completely legal, too.

But this guy thinks that her paying him is him illegally contributing to her campaign.  Trump may actually be the dumbest person walking the planet.

For Trump, every accusation is a confession. When MAGA talks about corruption, its on a misdirect that they're already following that playbook.

Yes it is, actually.  As noted above, that number is not random:

Quote

As of 2020, the Census Bureau estimated that there were almost 65.3 million Hispanics and Latinos living in the United States and its territories.

When one of the president's primary, and most trusted advisors (that's what she is) says "there are 65 million illegal aliens," that is exactly what they mean.  If you are hispanic, they believe that you are not an actual American, you have no right to be here, and they intend to use the full weight and force of the US government to kick us out.  At the very least, they have wet dreams about "Korematsu II, Except This Time, for Beaners."

1) Declare that we are being invaded by the brown hispanic horde.

2) That is a hostile "invasion," thus invoke the Alien Enemies Act, while ALSO declaring that because we are being invaded, the writ of habeas corpus is suspended.

3) Arrest any and all browns, people whose names end in Z, all that shit.  They are alien enemies, AND they have no ability to contest their arrest (no more habeas).

4) Shove them into massive internment camps (run by for-profit enterprises that will kick back a sizable portion of what they receive to the Trump family) all over the country (but....most of them will be conveniently located near where cheap labor, ag labor, etc. is needed), because...

5) All those captive hispanics will then be farmed out to large corporate contributors to the regime as ultra-cheap labor.  Labor is priced at $10 per hour.  Prison operator gets $8 of that, inmate gets $2, and the "employer" saves a fortune because he's now paying way below the prevailing wage.

And that, folks, is how you make slavery functionally legal again.

If you’re brown, I doubt the Trump administration is gonna distinguish between Lopes vs Lopez, Mendes vs Mendez, Gonzales vs Gonzalez, etc.

It cannot be overstated enough that all Trump really wants is to be adored and respected by showbiz people and we should have let that happen so he didn’t feel like he had to become president. I mean it, if Spielberg offers to do a fawning all-star cast biopic about him that will win an Oscar in 2016 then we avoid all this.

This all could’ve been avoided if the NFL  just let him buy the Buffalo Bills.
