boebert went fucking insane.  she is not well.

Nah, she's fine.  There's a little pressure to stay ahead of MGT is the publicity department but so far she's WAY outkicked her coverage.

She should be waitressing at a bordello and automatic weapons themed restaurant in bum fuck Colorado for $2.00 an hour plus tips with two fetal alcohol syndrome kids and a husband flashing his dick to underage girls.  Life is pretty good for her; she must be doing something right.

They are ultimately relying on the Democrats being their usual incompetent selves.

It's part of the current DNA of the Democratic Party:

From 2019:

The celebration of charismatic, conflict-averse uniters in Democratic-led White Houses (Clinton and Obama) omits a key, and punishing, shift in Democratic politics from anything resembling a viable effort to build a long-term majoritarian liberal coalition. Over the past two decades, Democrats steadily lost disaffected former supporters, while failing to consistently mobilize young or economically precarious people alienated from the entire political process, as the Republican Party increasingly became a nihilistic, anti-democratic machine designed to bamboozle a white elderly base and thwart the desires of the larger public for the sake of an entrenched oligarchy.

All the while, Democratic leaders continue to campaign and govern from a crouched, defensive position even after they win power. They have bought into the central ideological proposition, peddled by apparatchiks and consultants aligned with the conservative movement, that America is an incorrigibly “center-right” nation, and they have precious little strategy or inclination to move that consensus leftward—to fight, in other words, to change the national consensus; the sort of activity that was once understood as “politics.”

Who isn't?  Have you seen the magazines in their waiting rooms?

Pretty much nothing will beat 25 year-old Field & Stream magazines in a legitimate barber shop.  If the adventures of Rancid Crabtree or Crazy Eddie Muldoon don't put you in the mood for a haircut, nothing will.

i mean are we just ignoring the fact that bird chinned vapid white trash bitch called one colleague a jihadist and brought up who another may be fucking? what.the.actual.fuck.
THERE IS NO FLOOR, THE FLOOR DOES NOT EXIST.
I assume it has been mentioned in the Boebert thread, but when there are over a dozen Republican congressfolks earning their own thread for going above and beyond with their insanity, racism, etc, it's hard to keep track of all their transgressions. God, they all suck so bad...

Yep.

There are threads for Biden, Harris, AOC, and maybe a couple other Dems. But for the most part the only criticism they open themselves up to are their liberal socialist policies that are destroying our country. Nothing like, “Did you see the crazy shit that AOC just tweeted?”

Setting policies and politics aside, while elected officials in Congress as a whole are open to criticism, the Republicans by and large are losing their dignity as a party more so than the Democrats. This is not without exception. But it’s also, I think, a direct result of Trumpism.

There is no corporate workplace in the United States where a posting of an anime cartoon depicting one person killing another colleague would be acceptable.  Discipline would be swift.  The fact that so many of the Republicans stood up and were ok with Gosar's behavior tells you all you need to know about them and the state of the Republican party.  There is no floor.  Thy are deplorable, and they should be shunned.  All of them.

Day drinking on the floor, hey Congressman?

Surly Trademark on

"Pulling a Gosar" or "Thursdays with Gosar", anything referring to an alcoholic beverage before 5:00p on a weekday.

i’m naming my next dog “motherfuckface”…

You wanna go with "I've got a bomb" for a great dog name. Take him to the Fraternal Order of Police picnic, throw that frisbee with him, then if he gets a little rowdy, call him back: "I'VE GOT A BOMB! I'VE GOT A BOMB!"

you couldn't even pull something like this working the salad bar at McDougal's and expect to get away with it.

Why has AOC not sued for a restraining order against this prick?

Looks very similar to the ticks and twitches we started noticing in my mother-in-law before she was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.

(Not a doctor, not making a diagnosis, just an observation.)

He has said previously he has arthritis and has had back surgery as well, so there could be some tremors associated with that too. He is in his early 60s. The two (Parkinson's and arthritis are sometimes linked genetically or research is being conducted to see if some forms care connected I believe) but I'm not a doctor either.

The biggest tell for me was how he clamped his hands, as if to minimize their movement.  (Still not a doc.)

And his response is to double down and promise to continue to offend.

That's something a little kid will do after being caught red-handed.

"OH YOU THINK THAT PUNISHMENT WORKED, YOU JUST WAIT I'M GOING TO DO SOMETHING BIGGER!"
