We're going to have to put door gunners on planes departing Dallas aren't we?

Had repeated line cutters during deplaning. First time I just shared a look with the semi-cute woman across from me

On the return flight, after waking up at the crack of ass and suffering all day with back issues, I went full Larry David and asked the dude if he was in a hurry to catch a flight. He said “yeah”

I responded “I guess I’ll allow it then”. That was that.

Of course, we were in Austin. What connecting flights are here? Is that a thing? I guess it is.

I probably was pretty close to being the asshole in this situation, but for fuck sake, im sick of line cutters. If we’re flying into DFW and we’re late. Everyone has to catch a flight!!!

Flying back home after the gator-lsu game the plane was delayed going into Atlanta, because Delta. When we landed i jumped up, grabbed my carry-on bag, and told people “I’m sorry but I have to run to catch my plane- It started boarding 15 minutes ago”.   I ran down the length of the concourse, and I was literally the last person on the plane.  They shut the door before I made it to my seat.

I’m sure a ton of other people on my flight had connecting flights, but no fucks were given by me for pushing past anyone who would let me.

if I had even 15 minutes to make the flight I would’ve waited my turn - like I always do.   But the Delta app had already picked another flight three hours later and wanted me to hit the accept button. Aw, hell nah! I would do that after first giving this last OJ Avis commercial re-do a shot.

OK, who was this?

United Airlines passenger has been caught on camera violently kicking a seat in a fit of rage that resulted in him being restrained and strapped to one of the seats which he had taken such an issue with.

The exact date of the incident isn’t clear, although sources claim the outburst took place on a recent United flight from Austin to Los Angeles.

21st century hassle.

In Mexico City, my wife and I were held up long enough that, in order to board our flight, we rode on a golf cart to the actual runway, as the plane waited to take off, and boarded by climbing stairs at the ass end of the jet.

I would like to say we flew into Love, and went to the Egyptian for pizza, but it was a long time ago.

Obviously someone left a dildo lying on the seat and this poor guy sat on it.  Or he just has a bondage fetish.

Reminds me of one of the greatest quotes in the history of cinema: "There are some things that I like to get straight up front so that there are no misunderstandings later on. I do not do animal acts. I do not do s&m or any variations of that particular bent. No watersports either. I will not shave my pussy. No fistfucking, and absolutely no coming in my face. I get $2000 a day and I do not work without a contract".

Got off a flight today and shortly into it I felt the guy in back of me firmly pressing his knee into the seat back through the fabric.  First couple of times I shifted my weight back to let him know he was doing it.  Third time I turned around and said “you’re shoving your knee into my back and it’s uncomfortable. Please stop.”

The dude loudly protested that he wasn’t doing it, and showed me that at the moment his knee was not shoved into the seat.  I just shrugged.  No more issues for the rest of the flight.  Why lie? Just say “sorry about that” and move along.

(Before I’m asked, I was not reclining.)

Pretty much identical to what happened to me on a flight not long ago. Due said he had no choice, but he couldn't have been more than 5'9". I said if he'd actually sit up in his seat he wouldn't need to dig his knees into my back. He scooted his ass back in the seat. Never another problem the whole flight. "No choice" my ass.

United Airlines Flight Catches Fire During Takeoff

February 4, 2025 by David Jones

A United Airlines flight destined for New York City was abruptly halted just before takeoff from George Bush Intercontinental Airport when flames were seen erupting from one of its wings. The sudden stop jolted the passengers on board Flight 773, leading to a swift and chaotic evacuation.

Eyewitnesses painted a vivid picture of the terrifying scene. The aircraft, which had been accelerating for takeoff, suddenly came to a grinding halt, jolting back onto the runway. One passenger likened the plane’s erratic movements to fishtailing. As smoke began to fill the cabin, panic ensued, with passengers scrambling for the exits.

In the midst of the chaos, all 104 passengers and crew members were able to evacuate safely. Some used the emergency slides to reach the runway. One passenger expressed relief at being back on solid ground, admitting, “I thought I was going to die.”

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that the takeoff was aborted due to a reported engine issue. An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the malfunction.

For some passengers, the incident served as a chilling reminder of recent aviation disasters, making the prospect of boarding another flight daunting. One traveler confessed to hesitating before finally reboarding a different aircraft, stating, “I was the last person. I was scared.”

United Airlines has reiterated that passenger safety is its top priority and is fully cooperating with the FAA’s investigation. The airline is also offering support to those affected by the incident, including rebooking options and counseling services for those traumatized by the experience.

This incident comes at a time when aviation safety is under the microscope, with airlines emphasizing rigorous maintenance and safety checks. The aviation industry is under constant scrutiny to prevent such incidents and ensure passenger safety.

As authorities continue to investigate the cause of the engine malfunction, it serves as a reminder of the complex systems and expert coordination required to maintain air travel as one of the safest modes of transportation.

Japan Airlines Plane Collides with Delta Aircraft at Seattle-Tacoma Airport

February 6, 2025 by David Jones

A Japan Airlines aircraft collided with a stationary Delta Airlines plane on the runway of Seattle-Tacoma Airport on Wednesday morning. The incident, which occurred at 10:17 a.m., resulted in damage to both planes but no injuries were reported. The Japan Airlines plane was taxiing across the tarmac when its wing struck the tail of the parked Delta plane.

Images shared by passengers on social media depicted the wing of the Japan Airlines plane slicing halfway through the tail of the Delta aircraft. One passenger described the incident as “very scary,” adding that the impact was loud and startling. The plane was subsequently inspected for further damage.

Despite the collision, the airport reported that the incident had a “minimal impact” on its operations. The airport is currently working with both airlines to ensure the safe disembarkation of passengers and their transportation to the terminal.

This incident comes amidst a tense period for airports nationwide, following two recent fatal accidents. Just a week prior, a collision between a US Army helicopter and an American Airlines jet at Reagan National Airport resulted in the deaths of 67 people. Two days later, a medical evacuation jet in Philadelphia crashed onto a busy street and exploded, killing all six people on board and one person on the ground.

Adding to the unease, the Federal Aviation Administration’s Notice to Air Missions system (NOTAM), which provides crucial information about potential hazards to aircraft and airports, experienced an outage over the weekend. Although the system was restored on Sunday, the outage caused delays for hundreds of flights.

Houston represent!

https://townflex.com/passenger-arrested-after-allegedly-punching-and-cracking-airplane-window/

A Frontier Airlines passenger was restrained mid-flight after a violent outburst on a February 4th flight from Denver to Houston.

The incident, which took place aboard Flight 4856, began about 20 minutes into the flight when the passenger, whose identity has not been disclosed, allegedly started screaming in multiple languages and became increasingly agitated.

According to passenger Tanner Phillips, the man attempted to communicate with the woman seated in front of him, but when she didn’t respond, he began punching the seat in front of him and the airplane window.

“He was screaming in multiple languages, punching at the window, lying back, and trying to kick it out,” Phillips recalled during an interview with ABC World News Tonight.

The chaos continued as the man’s actions caused damage to the aircraft window, with cracks appearing in the glass, and blood reportedly splattered on the window from the passenger’s injuries.

Other passengers quickly reacted, restraining the combative individual and securing his arms in an effort to prevent further escalation.

Despite the terrifying incident, Frontier Airlines decided not to press charges against the passenger.

Rock Star’s Jet in Fatal Runway Accident at Local Airport

February 11, 2025 by David Jones

A fatal collision occurred at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona on Monday afternoon, involving a private jet owned by Vince Neil, the lead singer of Mötley Crüe. The incident occurred when a Learjet 35A, registered to Neil’s company Chromed in Hollywood, veered off the runway after landing and collided with a parked Gulfstream 200. The Learjet had flown in from Austin with four passengers on board, while the Gulfstream had one occupant.

The fatal accident resulted in at least one death. However, Neil was not present on the jet at the time of the collision. Among the passengers on the Learjet were Neil’s girlfriend, Rain Andreani, and her friend. Both women survived the crash and were taken to the hospital for treatment. Andreani reportedly suffered five broken ribs. The dogs accompanying the women on the flight also survived the accident.

Two pilots were also on board the Learjet at the time of the crash. One of the pilots tragically lost his life in the collision, as confirmed by Bret Michaels, Neil’s friend and the lead singer of the band Poison. The private jet charter company Jet Pros, which owns the Gulfstream, reported no injuries on their aircraft. One person at the scene declined medical attention, according to Scottsdale officials.

Eyewitness footage shared on social media showed the Learjet struggling to halt on the runway before skidding into the parked Gulfstream. The impact was so severe that it pushed the stationary aircraft several yards before both planes finally came to a rest. Images from the scene showed one of the jets without landing gear, surrounded by emergency vehicles and personnel.

Scottsdale officials stated that the left main landing gear on the Learjet appeared to fail upon touchdown, leading to the collision. This incident adds to a recent series of airport accidents and air incidents that have heightened anxiety among travelers nationwide. Just last month, a collision between a US Army helicopter and an American Airlines jet at Reagan National Airport in Washington, DC, resulted in 67 fatalities. Two days later, a jet crash in a busy Philadelphia street killed all six people on board and one person on the ground.

Sounds about right
