In case y'all were wondering what kind of mega genius we're dealing with here, @alphahorn has himself a blog, where I found out that not only is he a super-doctor, but he's also a legendary investment banker too.

Not too often you meet a Columbia MBA Grad/Doctor that has worked at Smith Barney, First Boston, Merck, Pfizer, and also took time to develop his own trading system in his spare time.

In other news, I think my $50 is safe.

Dr. Martin received his undergraduate (BA) from Goshen College, his Masters of Science from Ball State University, and his Doctorate (PhD) from the University of Virginia.

So not a medical doctor, but same difference, he can Google with the best of them

Btw, this about section is amazing

Quote

His first invention was a laser integrated system to target and treat inoperable tumors. His mathematics helped unravel the way the human body processes hormones and led to the detection and treatment of many diseases. His observation of human behavior led to his development of technology which deciphers the intention and motivation of communication – a technology that has impacted and saved the lives of billions. His global business activities served to develop the world’s top-performing global equity index (including the CNBC IQ100 powered by M·CAM). From the starry expanses of Mongolia to the flashing lights of New York, his work is as passion-filled whether it’s with a camel herder or a global CEO.

He tells his own story in the critically acclaimed documentary Future Dreaming and breaks down economic injustice in Patent Wars.  An author, public speaker, business visionary, professor, researcher, oracle, father, and friend, David is a man Fully Living.

alpha might be the craziest poster we've ever had.  He's damn sure on the Mt. Rushmore.  Shitting out his intestinal linings because of taking too much ivermectin should probably be on his list of accomplishments though.  Got to keep that bio up to date.

Why is a Columbia grad investment banker guy pretending to be a Longhorn on a message board to spread his love of horse paste?

His LInkedIn suggests Texas undergrad before Columbia MBA. Presumably, that was prior to his trip to med school, although that's unlisted on Linkedin

How much for his one-day seminars?

I'll pay $1000 if he does an hour long podcast for us.  Let's make it happen.

edit: can go to NIL, why not

But first question:  how are you so smart?  nature?  nurture?  horse paste? combo?

This is pretty incredible ... in more ways than one.

I thought you just made that stuff up.

I do take issue with a couple of things, though.

1) What's with the gratuitous shot at camel herders??? (And, btw, the correct term is "persuaders of humped, even-toed ungulates".)

2) Nary a mention of his groundbreaking contributions to the Surl?  I feel slightly slighted.

To be clear, Dr. Martin is not Alphahorn. He's just a luminary that Alphahorn cites as an expert whose advice is worth listening to

Wasn't David Martin the guy that made the "Plandemic" videos?

One more simple question for @alphahorn...do you buy into Martin's Plandemic conspiracy?

At least he uses the word "alpha." That word is really underused on the Internet these days and needs to be used with more frequency. It's a canine hierarchy system where the lead dog has a tribal tattoo, or something. The two most alpha activities a human can do are rejecting vaccinations and dousing a kettlebell in Axe Body Spray. If you have to ask yourself whether or not you're alpha, you aren't. If you find yourself in that situation you have to buy a kettlebell that is shaped like Thor's hammer. Immediately upon purchase you will become alpha. Boom! Welcome to the show, Big Dog.

A few additional comment here.

I may be wrong, but I’m pretty sure alphahorn pretended to be an insider in the urban Meyer thread and claimed he was coming to Texas.

Either this guy is the biggest idiot on the site, or he truly is a Russian fake person who’s doing his part to spread disinformation in the US.

Soometimes with LinkedIn, less is more ya know? I left off my stops at the JPL and Cold Spring Harbor but I definitely listed the year at Hooters because that got a lot more cold calls.

Lol so this is politics

Right!? That's what I'm saying! Even our resident "just asking questions" posters and vaccine concern trolls are looking at alpha and saying, "Dude, tap the brakes. You're making us all look bad." If we can't all come together and laugh about this, then what was the point of fighting a war after the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

I’d like to think our overlords are just taking this awesome thread all over.  Next will be baseball, followed by lulz, etc.

Kind of like when King Tut traveled all over the world when we were kids.  Some things just need to be shared…

You posted in blackface and that's probably why this is in the Cloak Room.

Yaaaay! Chooky finally got an avatar! I was tired of the plain C. Welcome to 2021, mofo.

Also, there is a shit on blast thread somewhere like in Pee but I think it should be moved to somewhere more visable. Like where only few can post but everyone can read? Is Can't Sit With Us like that? Then we can "report post" to the mods and tell them we request the gold be put in the  "Shit on blast thread".   We can follow it and it will let us know to go look at it.  Somebody who knows things figure this out plz.

About ten yards from me I have some abemectin in a locked chemical storage. It works great on spider mites.

At the start of this goddamn parade of idiocy it didn't cross my mind that I might have to hide it.

And at the end of this goddamn parade of idiocy it crossed your mind that you might have to take it. Amirite?

Seriously, this has been one of the funniest things I've read in a very long time. Kudos to Alphahorn for the laughs.
