Rookies.

Tire slashing is too much work.  What you really should do if the situation ever calls for it is to have a nice pair of side cutters handy and just cut the valve stems off.  You can do that much quicker and with far less work.  However, with the advent of modern battery operated power tools, one can just use a 3/4 bit with a drill and go through the sidewall.  Or, with a sawzall, just make a large cut.  However, those methods make noise and might draw unwanted attention.

Aside from that, what happened to you sucks, and yeah, I echo the sentiments of others.   Time to rebadge your car as a Buick or Audi or something.

A sharp pocket knife will slide into a sidewall like butter.

You could do it without even breaking stride, except for a slight dip in your shoulder to reach down to tire level.

Good.
Tornado alley is solidly Trump country.  When the leopard of mother nature eats some of their faces, without any of the warning that a functioning weather science system used to provide......that will be good for society as a whole.
They want people to suffer by a massive cessation of government services.  They think that everyone who benefits from government services is "welfare queens" (and we all know what color those welfare queens are).  Turns out, people who depend on weather warnings to survive are also "welfare queens."  Guess they should pull themselves up by their bootstraps and get their own radar and communications connectivity.  Fucking leeches.

Yawn. Dems will get blamed for it somehow.

They got blamed for the subprime recession which fueled the tea party movement. They got a share of 9/11 blame. Obama was blamed for the rise of ISIS. Biden for the Taliban, after Trump freed militants. Hillary for Benghazi, when state department budgets were cut by the GOP.

The GOP is much better at leveraging a crisis. It’s in their DNA to destroy things and blame their adversaries for the chaos and suffering, deserved or not.

Then just root for more tornadoes to even out the voting pools.

Just saw the price drop referred to as the Tesla Chainsaw Massacre.

Now, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Trump instructs our sovereign wealth fund to start buying gobs of TSLA in the interest of national security, but short of that, what is to stop this price fall? Even at current levels, TSLA is a car manufacturer with a PE over 100 and it seems pretty evident the sales volumes of his incel-mobiles are going to be under massive pressure globally. Oh yeah, robo-taxis will save the day......

No.

It's back to where it was in October of last year.   Whick is still too high.

Setting aside the massively inflated PE ratio for a second -

How do you account for the fact that your brand is now so hated that there is a worldwide arson campaign against your assets? Seems like that wouldn’t be good for your valuation.

Any positives they have is because they are part of a command economy with a dictator in their pocket.  They can have Trump mandate certain purchases; they can get value out of being a 'technology company' as Elon tries to say, through other means.  They can't continue their inane valuation with consumer purchases of vehicles any more imo.

If you are a car insurer.....are you contemplating halting all insurance of a "car" that has now been turned into a hated political statement?

If you are a Tesla stockholder who realizes that the entire value of the brand is "Elon," and the odds of Elon being assassinated keep shooting up.....are you unloading that stock?

Indeed, there are only two things that can happen with Elon, and both of them are bad for Tesla at anything close to its current stock price: Elon keeps on keeping on, further tanking the price.  OR....Elon dies, thus taking away the only thing that makes Tesla unique and thus valuable.

But....have no fear.  The US government will 100% bail him out.  All future vehicle contracts will mandate "Teslas only."  The US government will reward Tesla with government contracts to....manufacture typewriters or some shit, it doesn't matter what it is, it just matters that the checks are cashed by Elon.  The US government will buy Tesla stock to prop up the price.  ETC.

It's a full-on kleptocracy, and Elon is leading the charge, while claiming he's saving us a shitload by changing the brand of coffee the government buys.  And the idiots eat it up.

Yup. All the "free market, no regulation" republicans will stand around with their dicks up their own asses while our tax dollars get shoveled into Elon's pockets.

TSLA down almost 14% today

That sucks.  It's performance fell 86% short of where it should have ended up.

Society's collective mission should be to bankrupt and completely destroy Elon Musk.

This fills me with rage. Mark Kelly is a true American hero. Musk is a fucking piece of shit. I don’t know how anyone can justify driving a Tesla or using Starlink.

As soon as I have another option for internet, my Starlink will go immediately in the trash.  But rural people don't have a lot of options, unfortunately.

Fully agree on Tesla.

Try T-Mobile 5G Home Internet, I use it myself and it works about as well as a non-fiber connection can, and I live out in the boonies. Even if they say you're outside the service area, usually they will give you the equipment and let you try if you go into the store.

I didn't.  But I still have rubes all around me. Starlink is the only internet service I can get and I'm not exactly in the boonies. But I am considered rural.

T-Mobile coverage is shit up here.  Had to switch phone service from TMob to Verizon when we moved up here.

Quote

James Murdoch dumps $13 million of Tesla shares. At least, that’s what this SEC filing says. He’s one of several insiders who’ve been selling lately, I notice; the chair of Tesla’s board, Elon Musk’s brother, and Tesla’s CFO all dumped tens of millions in shares last month, too. Tesla shares closed today at $222.15, down 41 percent this calendar year. They’re still up about 25 percent from this time last year. It remains unclear whether the continuing Tesla protests have rendered the brand toxic.

I remember when "Anonymous" was a big deal when it came to hackers but they never seemed to do shit that mattered. Hopefully these hackers are actually good and ready to go to war with that piece of shit. Hell at this point if its a foreign enemy who cares the majority in this country has already decided that we want to rebuke or traditional allies and join the modern day axis powers, so hell yeah, take them all down.

Try the Verizon fixed wireless home internet. I tested it out a couple of months ago when I upgraded my phone. Obviously living in urban Austin, I was getting 5G speeds consistently, but I used for a month and it was stable.

I ended up not keeping it only because my Spectrum service was the same price ($45) and usually around 500MB. But Spectrum just raised my price to $75 with no warning so I'm tempted to sign up again. First I'll see if I can get Spectrum to work a deal, because I like using my Verizon cell hotspot feature as a backup in case my home internet goes down.  If my home and cell internet are both Verizon, I have no backup.

Can you have Viasat?

Thats my satellite internet provider for my ranch which is in the middle of nowhere. I was considering switching to Starlink this year but that’s not going to happen now.
