Anyone watching Wayward?  I always get interested when a mystery, twist series is number one

Don’t bother. It started off ok and progressed to unwatchable

Is "star-studded cast" one of your boxes?

3 emmy winners will do.

i assume whitford has a small role since he wasn't featured at the end of the trailer, but yeah, he has 3 emmys on his own.

The ed gein movie is literally episode after episode of made up events. It’s definitely entertaining but they have added multiple murders to gein with zero evidence and zero confession. Obviously doesn’t mean some couldn’t have happened but they make up even the scenario in how they happened too.

No, and Peri is the one who got kicked out of UT.

I can only assume it was due to naughty filthy sexual shenanigans and if it wasn't don't tell me.

That final episode of Monster Ed Gein was ludicrous. The series wasn’t amazing but that last episode was off the rails.

Yeah I plowed through it even though I thought it was pretty meh after the first few episodes.  If it was ever on the rails it definitely exited once he got caught.  I really don't know if the writers just had nothing for material, or were just secretly in love with Gein.  It was bonkers.

sorry to interrupt the ed gein talk for the 2nd time, but we finished house of guinness last night.

very good. very steven knight. hopefully he has a multi-season plan.

i didn't see a solo thread or any mention on here. seems like y'all's netflix recommendation algo's needs a reset.

Wow you've already binged the new season?  Impressive!

Ha. It’s actually pretty short. Without the credits I think they’re mostly under 40 minutes.

The Perfect Neighbor is some high quality rage bait

Very well done.

Spoiler

I was actually shocked she was convicted. Watching the kids find out was horrible. There are truly some miserable people that want to make everyone else as miserable as they are.

If you came of age in the 1960s and followed the NBA you owe it to yourself to see Bill Russell: Legend.  Don’t expect high def but the content is highest quality.  That man was a great human being and one helluva leader and defender of the basket.

I wish she was the one who got shot.

Fucking lunatic, compulsive liar who is always the victim. I want to kill her myself

huh...shocking that a secdef would try to censor a netflix show. 93% on the tomatometer

I thought this was pretty entertaining overall. Definitely some pretty heavy sex scenes so not sure I would have kids watch it (also a metric fuckton of swearing. Some of it truly inspired). All in all pretty good little series.

Diplomat season was good. I think cutting it down to six episodes like last season would have made it better.

Spoiler

we finished it last night. had just about the right amount of twists and turns and intrigue and all the other stuff it was going for. solid season.

the kate and hal dynamic went in circles a lot, but that's the show. and ep6 when they were at the president's beach house got a little silly. they should have eli attie write more episodes (he only wrote s03e03). though i did appreciate the word catastrophizing and using "overwhelm" as a noun.

whomever is the head writer - i assume it's kahn or hagen - man they know how to write all men as whiny little bitches who throw tantrums nonstop. not that it's inaccurate, but it got real repetitive. i know a lot of women are in power positions in this show, and i like that, but the men are little titty babies far too often. trowbridge, whitford, hal, dennison, poldark, even stuart. so much bitching and moaning between them.

Perfect neighbor was excellent. What a worthless psycho bitch that lady was. I was amazed the detectives didn’t fall for her shit though. Ironically I think if she wasn’t a known  nuisance caller they might have.
