The fire hose of insanity and flat out stupidity has been on blast for months/years, but just taking inventory of the last 72 hours is especially staggering.

Dabbling is doing some heavy lifting there.

Haven't looked it up, but guess it doesn't include filing 60-plus lawsuits, fomenting a riot at the US Capitol, and the loser whinging about it for five plus years.

The cutoff for their plot was July 4 and that happened in August. These two are at MIT and CSIS and have called out RW violence for years. Getting angry at academics when data doesn’t align with priors is the dark MAGA way.

Weird stance when their data is pretty cherry picked and equivocates two dudes brawling with a madman shooting up a Walmart because brown people are gonna take his spot

The United Nations correspondent for the Associated Press, Farnoush Amiri, reported that “[a] UN official said the UN understands that someone from the president’s party who ran ahead of him inadvertently triggered the stop mechanism on the escalator. The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the White House was operating the teleprompter for Trump.”

Oh, it also admits right wing violence COMMITTED BY FUCKING ARMS OF THE STATE BECAUSE THEY'VE TAKEN OVER THE GOVERNMENT.

See, if some white supremacist body slams a chick, that's political violence.  Give that guy an ICE t-shirt, and it doesn't count.

Shit, I'm gonna bet that in Nazi Germany, there were very few acts of "right wing political violence."  Instead, they were perfectly legal actions by the state.  Gun down jews in the street for sullying the fatherland?  Political violence.  Gun them down and shove them into a pit while you're wearing an SS uniform?  Doesn't count.

This and the left wing violence overtaking right wing violence is some serious bs Whstaboutism and makes my blood boil.

No one on the left with any credibility is saying this.

Just stop.

Left wing violence overtaking? Yeah well the right wing violence is state sanctioned so….. it doesn’t count now?

The Atlantic can go eat a dick. Republicans aren’t going to read you bro. Stop trying to make fetch happen.

CNBC reporting that the White House is looking to take an equity stake in a lithium mining company based in Canada. That stock price skyrocketed today.

I don't think for a second that Trump knew or knows anything about this company. There has to be a person(s) who is making this decision that is behind the scenes but we're blind to how that is being decided. It is a bit concerning that Trump publicly meets with Elon a couple of days ago, and Elon has a very high interest in lithium mining.

I also wonder who may have recently purchased shares of this stock in the past days/weeks before this announcement.

Apparently, the idea of a sovereign wealth fund is unobjectionable.  But that would require political independence and independent agencies are about to go down the tubes.

"White House" equity investments are suspect as shit.  I thought we didn't like the government choosing winners and losers?

Dismissal of criminal charges?

Trumpco is going to attempt to abuse existing laws, no question about that.

This EO doesn't make it easier for him to do so.  At best/worst it expresses his intention to do so.

We run budget deficits and have the world’s largest and best financial market.  There is no problem we have that a SWF will solve except the lack of a vehicle for for blatant cronyism.

My god, I just saw a supercut on Pod Save the World of his "speech" at the UN.  He is a batshit lunatic.  This is not a person who should be allowed in any position of power in any sane world.  The world needs to cut us off from any serious attempts at building a cohesive global strategy.  Give him a phone that's not plugged in and plays AI messages of world leaders praising him while the real world starts to figure out a new global coalition for the future decades.
