Modi is a monster of a leader, he's already promised a response "beyond imagination" and his flavor of Hindiusm will demand a big response here. Pakistan is really struggling lately (economically, politically) so it will be interesting to see if they even muster a response. It's in everyone's best interest to let India get their "get back" and move on and take the L because of your loser terrorists IMO.

So Modi is like a real life Ghandi from Civilization?

India should launch an attack exactly 37 hours after the tweet then tweet back "wrong, bitch!"

The first meal I ever made in a house with a real kitchen that I owned after moving from an apartment was Kukul Mas Maluwa so I support that weird island.

Reports from Pak.

two Indian aircraft shot down. Hits are in Kashmir and within Pakistan.

BBC-

The Indian army says Pakistan has "fired artillery in Bhimber Gali in Poonch-Rajauri area" in India-administered Kashmir, just across the dividing lines.

India's armed forces are "responding appropriately in a calibrated manner," the army says in a post on X.

India Strikes Pakistan Two Weeks After Terrorist Attack in Kashmir

The Indian government said its forces had struck nine sites in Pakistan and on Pakistan’s side of the disputed Kashmir region. Pakistani military officials said that five places had been hit, in Punjab Province and its part of Kashmir, and that the strikes “will not go unanswered.”

What would be great here is for this to stop right now. Really fucking dicey.

Oh Bozo. My sweet summer child. Did you forget the timeline we’re in?
No worries, I’m sure we’ll provide some real leadership soon to help ratchet things down.

I don’t actually believe the Pakistanis shot down Indian airplanes and suspect this is for domestic consumption. Also expect things ratchet down over the next couple of days.

Thank you for confirming the open source intel.

If the end of the civilization comes about because of Patels and Khans, this will be such a let down.

Shut up holy fuck. They aren't even fucking close to nuking each other yet. We haven't even gotten into anything beyond metaphorical jabs.

You. I'm tired of your shit lately.

Sounds personal and not very becoming.

You have a tendency to go off the handle.

Posters on all sides have called it out.

Don't hold that against me bro.

But be capricious as you dictate.

It's your board.

What is wrong with some of you board mods?

I mean, Pakis is a slur, and calling groups of people Patels and Khans is in the same ballpark.

Seems you're graduating from political trolling to racist trolling.  You not getting enough attention lately?

I had a funny post set up to answer @satyanash's post about the amount of time that had passed. I just erased it.

I see the NYT has heavy coverage at the top of their webpage. Does there seem to be much interest here and worldwide? A friend who took a course on that part of the world decades ago told me that his professor declared that the next huge war would start due to this conflict.

I think it is interesting that VP Vance was just there.

  • I suspect the Murder Cult is pursuing what seems to be it's primary goal: People must die. Most of them.
  • No vaccine support.
  • No more labs to follow lethal infectious disease.
  • No more support for controlling African aids. (W was a disastrous president, but his work on this was laudable.)
  • No more FDA regulation of food and drugs.
  • No more regulation of energy efficiency of large appliances.
  • Encouragement to Israel to starve and slaughter Gazans.
  • Acceleration of climate cataclysm
  • Let's get some wars going.

What else can one conclude about the Trump tyranny's every move?

They're either too stupid to understand the possible consequences of a sub-continent war or embrace those consequences. What does the list above suggest is the answer to that.

I'm uncomfortable about my white-hetero-male golden ticket while the USA sets the world of persons of color ablaze.

Money perhaps? Pakistan and India have a number of natural resources (coal, oil, minerals) and maybe the Trump regime figures they can work out a Ukraine style deal if Pakistan is subdued? That's my Dunning-Kruger University take on it. Ignores all the other reasons, but money and power are the two motivators that seem to drive the bus.
