I have always liked Cube (Die-hard Laker fan like me and I grew up listening to him), but it would serve him well to just admit he screwed up. Something about his personality says that admission will not be forthcoming though.

Yeah, he won't. That never give up mentality is part of what made him successful, but he is going to be getting a lot of these from the brotha's when we pass him on the block.

There is no way Donald Trump resigns.

I also don't think McConnell offers him a way out of legal trouble, which I didn't foresee at the outset.

The GOP did great in Congress even while Trump lost. This tells me that a lot of Republicans voted (R) down ballot but punched one in for Biden. There's more momentum for the GOP than Trump at the moment, so now's as good of a time as any to plot a future for the GOP that doesn't cowtow to Trump.

The GOP has all the leverage they need over Trumpists at the moment. Because once they come to perceive the GOP as the only thing between them and everything they're scared of (AOC, socialism), they're going to keep voting for the GOP, even if their orange god is rotting in a prison cell.

Not meant as a slam to other dem prez candidates but does anyone think that Bernie or warren would have outperformed Biden? 2020 wouldn’t have been kind to the beliefs in this election.

The Dems nominated the best candidate to compete against trump

Yep, they’ve been hearing for so long from Herr Donald that this election will be corrupt they’ve drank the kool-aid and got suckered in. It amazes me how stupid and gullible some idiots can be. However, they’re aggies, so - makes sense.

I think Bernie would have won the Rust Belt and the election, performing similarly from an electoral perspective, perhaps losing Georgia.
Any other candidate from the primary would have lost.

If anything, McConnell would force resignation with the credible threat of impeachment and removal.  I don’t think he will do that but I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump resigns on his own to get a blanket pardon from Pence for federal crimes.  He’s still liable for State crimes.  Anyway, Trump isn’t getting impeached again. It’s too exhausting on everyone involved and nothing to be gained politically.

He definitely wouldn’t do it. The Trumpers are still to mad and it will take a few cycles for them to get over this. Mitch won’t waste a single ounce of political capital on that fuck now that he’s useless to him. He’s just going to stop blocking the falling rocks coming for trump.

This is the best blue balls I've ever had.

Democrats have been edging for 3 nights now. GA being called will be the equivalent of whoever your ol lady is blowing air onto it and releasing everywhere.

That graphic explanation was brought to you by Thirsty Goat beer. I haven’t been on the receiving end of that, except I have.

We watched the Tea Party movement rise up, stir shit up, then be co-opted by the GOP,  all the while the Tea Partiers were thinking that those GOP guys who came in and started guiding the Tea Party folks, were there because they were tired of the GOP and the TP was where they wanted to be.  Only to find out that those GOP guys were still GOP guys.

Same thing here.  Trump losing means Mitch and the Mechanics are going to put the twist on Trump supporters and give them the options of supporting the GOP, or being forced to change their gender and get gay-married by the Dems.

I’m absolutely sure Bernie would’ve won in 16. Democratic support outside major urban areas in the rust belt would not have collapsed the way it did.

I’m not sure about this year. Millions of previous non voters have joined Cult 45. Some portion of Midwestern suburbanites would’ve been scared by the socialism bullshit. I don’t know if black voters come out for Bernie like they did Biden.

And I'm enjoying the mail in ballots in Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, PA.

It's causing a meltdown among Trumpers and I'm here for it after shoving Dotard in our face for four long years.

It’s the death by 1,000 pin pricks I’m enjoying. Just an antagonizingly slow gutting

Indeed. Without Trump to embolden their spirits, the Trumpists have only their fear left. The GOP can always control them by their fear.

I just wish I could have told them, in the Trump/Pence years...

Assuming this goes where it's leading...

Does Pence pull the 25th Amendment on Trump before Inauguration day should be a betting line.

No. He’s going to run in 24 and he needs the favor of the Trumpers.

Yeah, it’s slow and grinding for us.

But take pleasure in the fact that Trump is helplessly watching this slip away just as slowly over the past two days, and realizing no one is coming to save him.
