Yep, the argument I've had with GOLL for at least 4 years now.  He has insisted that Trump's true support -- and thus the pool of really shitty people in this country -- is around 35%.  Nope, I have told him repeatedly to believe what the facts are telling us - it's 45-50%.

We are in bad shape.

I’ll say it again: We are a center right nation that is deeply racist.

Maybe sit these next few plays out buddy

His electoral college analysis is only rivaled by his COVID data tracking.

mail shit counterpoint

Has this guy presented any evidence to support his claims? How would he possibly know they were delivered if they weren’t actually tracked? Either way it seems Trump’s gambit to cut down the USPS to limit votes has at least some modicum of success.

No, Cubans are complete dumbasses. They still think of republican and democrat in 1960s terms. I bet 99 percent of them have no idea they're actually voting to lose thier healthcare, voting for worse relations with cuba so they'll never have a chance to go back and get land, and voting for increased racial prejudice against them.

The same is true for a ton of Texas Mexicanos. The margin in Texas came down to a few hundred thousand. If a strong united latino front showed up against the same issues republicans and trump are attacking them with they would have flipped Texas and this would be over. They would have  also ousted Cornyn and made the senate tighter and could do the same to Cruz next time if they wanted. Then they'd have a ton of leverage negotiating with Biden/democrats as a group for policy changes that benefit latinos in Texas because the Dems would know that without them they might have lost the presidency and might not be able to get a senate majority. They could also negotiate with republicans in Texas to get shit changed fast or we'll keep screwing you locally and ousting your people.

Instead it looks like Biden and Dems will have the presidency in spite of Texas latinos so there's no room for negotiation at all. No leverage. No policy changes whatsoever to benefit them as a discriminated against minority group in Texas. Latinos have the numbers in Texas, Florida, and Arizona to do massive damage to either side and be in position to negotiate a ton of change but frankly they're being too stupid as a whole to capitalize on it.

The child separation policy really resonated with the Latino voting bloc

My brother in law's father in law died on a vent yesterday in Houston. Guess he just missed the virus disappearance cut off.

I'm sorry.

Obama won two elections

Think its more greed / stupidity

Obama did well across most demographics, but he obviously did well in the black community pushing that vote up a couple of percentage points.  It seems the black community was far less enthusiastic about Biden, especially black males.

Woa...just saw this on NYT

2.7 million votes reported

Estimated votes remaining

Timing of results:Due to an error in an Edison Research data feed of results, the estimate of the counted vote in Arizona was too high. The actual estimate is that 86% of the vote has been counted.

is a week for ballots to be delivered the normal thing we'd expect, or is that based on the new improved USPS?

How fast does the printer work?

But we're still talking mail in votes, mostly from Maricopa county, so shouldn't really change the state.

Ok so here's what people were talking about on other boards

It's almost like they are too stupid to go to the MI SOS website which tracks this. The data comes from somewhere, go to the source not just some consumption mechanism.

The door to socialism is opening. We're fucked imo.

That door was opened in 1932.  Social Security and Veteran's Affairs office out front should have told you.

In all seriousness, your post is rooted in the political and historical ignorance that has led to the Nation no longer being a world-leader.  Just breathtakingly wrong.

And think we are going to be rich one day.

It amazes me how many people I know from back home who make 50k a year or less with no real upward trajectory but want the laws set up in a way that will be most beneficial for them if they ever magically become millionaires.

LOL ya I don't expect many people to do that. People want insta-reactions, not to think.

Went down a bit of a rabbit hole from that "counterpoint" Vice article. This seems pretty odd, but it suggests 90%+ of new voters went for Trump. Spot checked a few counties and his numbers were accurate.

Wtf? If those numbers are accurate and those are counties that use electronic voting machines that seems shady af.

we were down on the coast a few weeks ago and every fucking person had trump shit on and were flying trump flags.  no way they all voted for him in '16.  it's their identity now.  it's like people wearing raiders hats in the 80's or something.
