After fleeing the SEC, Riley is now fleeing Notre Dame. USC is cancelling their annual rivalry game with Notre Dame after 100 years.

If this is true, it's just another reason to dislike USC and Riley.

Chicken-fuckers, imo.

he would be perfect for aggy after they shitcan elko. That really is the lynchpin to embracing aggyness. With LR leading them into battle, I could see them rip off a string of 8-4 seasons.

They don't need an easier schedule. The CFP is 12 teams and likely to be 16 soon. What USC needs is a better coach.

I have a buddy that is loosely ‘related’ to Lincoln through marriage. Sent him the second screenshot above, this was his reply…

Um, 6 of the last 7, including last two by 42, says otherwise.

On the west coast, "most of the time" means 2002 to 2009.

This is fucking shameful.

Does help clarify why ND signed a 12 year deal with Clemson, particularly given they already had 6 games on the schedule during that time frame. I think there is some aspects to ACC and perhaps at some point ND being forced to join a conference but that's all speculation. I do think losing USC played a part as, deserved or not(usually not), USC is usually ranked and considered a rival which helps both teams SOS. I just don't see the upside of dropping this game for either team and its not good for college football imo.

Riley might actually be the biggest pussy to ever coach in CFB. Ran away from the SEC, now running away from ND. He only wants to play a bunch of shitass teams, only problem is he's been losing to them too.

When does he start lobbying for USC to the Big 12 so he can get away from Oregon and Ohio state and Penn St?

Lincoln is a bitch, but it seems like a decision like this would be above the HC's head.

Most certainly. A middling coach on the hot seat that has never won a thing is not telling the USC power structure what happens with Notre Dame.

They gave him a lot of control.  He was super salty OU made the decision to go SEC without consulting him.  He’s a bitch made pussy.  OU can lose 100 games in a row and it won’t change the fact LR is a total bottom bitch.  OU sucks.

Is Lincoln Riley the most punchable face in the entire landscape of CFB? He's got to be near the top of the list.

After thinking about it for a second, that might actually be worthy of its own thread. You've got Riley, Ryan Day, Bielema, Liucci, Danielson, Kirby Smart, James Franklin, Carson Beck, Venables, and Bill O'Brien just off the top of my head. It's a sport loaded with villains who look the part.

Think if you lined up pics of all those names to someone that doesn’t follow CFB, Liucci would probably still win as most punchable.

You’re probably right. That guy would be in the running to win a national contest.

USC - ND is a funny one in how it's a big annual game between true bluebloods with lots of historic relevance, and yet it's a surprisingly low energy matchup. The fanbases don't dislike each other, they're rarely good at the same time these days, it's just all a bit sedate and country clubby.

It is one of the most streaky rivalries.  This chart is almost never plaid

Hah.  An entire generation almost passed without seeing ND win @Southern Cal.  Almost every single one of those games in the 60s-70s either won or ruined a national championship.  The streak was broken by, of all people, Gerry Faust.

Ya.  This came out of the BUG media deal.  I think Riley's punishment for his recent records is to play the fall guy.

USC-ND is one of those meetings that, for me, stands alongside tOSU-Meatchicken and 'Bama-UGa as a game simply not to be missed, even though my favored outcome involves asteroids, meteors, earthquakes...

Fuck everybody involved in removing any of these games from the schedule.

NOTE: Texas-OU is missing only because I do actually care who wins that one. Texas-aggy is missing because fuck aggy.

If it’s a “Mount Rushmore” of such, then Herman doesn’t even merit a mention in the parking lot.

Dude kicked UGA’s ass.

Why would you want to punch Bielema?
