How much to start a DT thread? Need to crowdsource the title but I'm willing to take the heat.

Seems like a pretty newsworthy event.

It is my greatest hope that Trump's lawyers ask for an expedited appeal and it is denied by return email.

Yes, but the email will still have a link to donate a recurring $50 charge to support his efforts.

My goodness, 0 for 34, Mr. President.  I think Hellen Keller had a better batting average.  Time to call Gov. Abbott, I suppose.

Lulz at this being the weakest of all of his numerous cases. 34 for 34.

That's the thing... IT WAS the weakest of the cases.

What's that tell you?

In Manhattan.

I’ll be interested to hear what the mood is at bars and restaurants this evening. I would be toasting with a glass of champagne right now.

Jose Abreu and Martin Maldonado rejoice.

Strong disagree. TexAgs's liberal friends are convinced he'll gain votes, and if you can't trust their critical thought then who can you trust?

Ha--Biden gets to campaign against a convicted felon.  Still think there's going to be a debate on a public stage?

He’ll back out because it’s too close to sentencing and he has to “prepare” or something 😂

All of this. It's possible that he won't lose a single vote over this. If you're still in on Trump in 2024, what's a little infidelity and business records shenanigans to you?

BUT he won't gain a single vote because of this. Had the verdict been wishy-washy, I think you could attract those more inclined to believe that they're unfairly politically targeting Trump with bullshit charges, and the powers that be must be stopped!

This--you've got to chip away at the support.

There's going to be at least a few "hold your nose and vote for Trump" voters that are going to be a pushed away because voting for a convicted felon is just too much.  If we're thinking margins will be slim in battleground states then every bit of help matters.

Felons can’t vote but they can sure become president lol

Felons can vote once they fully discharge their sentence, at least in Texas. The statement "felons can't vote" is used to suppress voting.

It's being widely reported that FL defers to the state where the conviction occurred.  NY allows non-incarcerated felons to vote, so, Trump will be able to vote in FL.

CNN already starting with conservative websites are down because so many people are trying to donate, and how some radical republicans who were never trumpers aren’t happy with this verdict
