The President may only remove a Fed Member “for cause.” “For cause” in the case of an independent agency member is a high standard. There must be a clear nexus between the alleged misconduct and the official’s duties and responsibilities as a Fed Member.

The alleged misconduct occurred prior to Cook beginning her 14 year term. The misconduct alleged  in this setting has nothing to do with performance as a Fed member.

A personal financial transgression, even an illegal one, prior to holding office does not meet the “for cause” standard.

He's not wrong.

But I really want to win every game; it's been 20 years.

Thankfully this is an issue I do not have to contemplate. ASU’s football history is nearly non-existent. Dillingham may change that for the better, but if he doesn’t then whatever. Having a functioning government and country is more important than a college football team winning games. I’ll gladly take ASU going 2-10 every season if that meant maga was permanently done for and that the Republicans party ceased to exist/is banned permanently.

No one. Not one single person in that cult will do it. Rules only matter when people agree to follow them. That time has passed for the time being with our fascist government.

Well, Hitler owned much of Mercedes Benz and Porsche. There are still remnants of Hitler era German owned Schindler Elevator. What we’re seeing is the Nazi history repeating itself.

Mercedes-Benz wasn’t nationalized. Prior to the war, Porsche was a design and engineering consultancy that created the design for the Volkswagen but didn’t produce its own cars.

Ferdinand Porsche was an enthusiastic Nazi and SS member and leadership of Daimler-Benz was also whole-heartedly cooperative with the Nazis. They used massive numbers of prisoners.

There are for sure some parallels in the way some segments of industry are rushing into bed with Trump. I do think it’s more closely mirroring managed capitalism in China or corrupt schemes in Hungary than the Nazi way of business. Hitler wasn’t grifting, he really was trying to mobilize German society for his warped vision of national greatness.

Trump may be grifting, but some of the most influential people in his circle have a....warped vision of national greatness.  He gets to grift off that warped vision so win-win and same same as ze Germans.

There are absolutely vile racists in this for the torture of others, there are those who are in this cult for the grift and some are there for both. TFG is definitely in it for both. This is still closer to fascist Italy though. Not entirely, but there are more similarities, especially the mob-like mentality.

I noticed today for the first time that Trump kept the top of his discolored and skin damaged right hand covered by his left one during the entirety of his press briefing from Oval.

To say Hitler wasn't grifting is way off base.  He was worth 3-5 billion dollars at his death in '45.  In '33 he had a worth in the thousands.

Trump's dad would have been proud to have her as a daughter if she were as described below.

The language above is inflammatory and shows many signs of Trump's direct involvment in composing it. Most of the letter is written in active voice which government agencies prefer these days. Green above marks the places I suspect he had great say. I think vitriole is added throughout.

She declared a place in one state as her permanent residence then purchased land in another state declaring it permanent residence [it's possibe that she already owned it, in which case she merely changed her mind. EGADS!]. This gross negligence in a financial transaction erodes her competence and trustworthiness and undermines Donald Trump's confidence in her integrity.

I have a much firmer grasp of shamelessness than I did 8 years ago.

I’ve long enjoyed using the mid-century expression “rich as Hitler,” but I’m told it’s problematic.
Nevertheless, I will persist in attempting to lead a comeback.
