India buys virtually all their arms from Russia and depends upon them for logistics, parts, and training.  They are not cutting ties anytime soon.

If I was an Indian soldier, I would be begging the government to reconsider that arrangement.

Got to hand it to Nicole. She has survived two preemptive tactical nuke strikes. Her response was kept conventional and defensive only and she continues to fight. How does she survive this? If she were to fall does she resort to carpet bombing the thread with nudes as a last resort?

Check out German fish acting like it's all out in front.

Meanwhile, the German fish is cutting deals with the Russian shark. It's actually buying other dead fish on the black market from the shark and taking those fish home to feed it's families. All while telling us about how great of a fish it is.

What exactly should Ukrainians do with the TOS-1A Thermobaric rocket launcher they captured? Imagine that’s scary enough for that convoy but I can’t see them using it unless they have no choice. But it’s a hell of a score.

Problem is targeting?  Does it work?  Do they know how to use it?  Weapons armed?  Do you have a static target to hit with it?  Is it still mobile?

Lots of questions, so who knows?

And in no way shape or form do I advocate for bombing hospitals but that's part of the PR machine.  AA probably located right outside a hospital that was evacuated and used by fighters.  A hospital is a good place to fight from.  Supplies and generators but if you don't want a hospital to be hit.  Don't fight from a hospital

Might be a trap by Putin to have them use an outlawed weapon

Message received. I understand what you are saying and my passion for stuff like this tends to be too much and annoying. Having said that, you aren’t the boss of me. And my posts outside of personal/love for Zelenskyy stuff have been useful for the most part. I disagree with you on that. I feel like my contributions to this site and thread don’t always suck and actually are appreciated. But carry on…I don’t go personal or demean other posters. Never have and never will.

You seem nice. But you post way too much.

Thread becomes easier to read when you skip over Nicole and Troph wetting themselves every couple of hours

Is there a way to block a specific user’s posts in this thread?

I added her to ignore way back on the Urban Meyer thread. She's completely incapable of consolidating her thoughts into a single post. She posts every two minutes and mucks up an-already fast-moving thread like the winter thaw does to Russian convoys. Do yourself a favor and do the same.

From what videos in Ukraine have taught me, wherever there are Russian troops, there are also Ukrainians within 50 feet who just don't give a rip.

Ok @Nicole44, going to just shoot a pro tip your way.

1. Go to a porn site with photos dirty guys post of their wives.

2. Find a pic with no face and close up of a set of boobs that are reasonably similar to yours.

3. Screen shot said boobs.

4. Take 1 or 2 respectable but risqué photos of yourself as a lead up.

5. Post the set after much public lamentation and diatribe.

After that, there with be a little rabble, probably some hypocritical slander, male chauvinism and to a smaller degree obsessive thirst.

Then, we can all get on with our lives.

Fuck looters, but I hope they kept the cart. They are each going to need a couple of them to carry money to buy a loaf of bread, on the unlikely event they ever get home.

At one point, 4 of the 7 clumped all together with no one looking out for ambush.

Keep this up with this same lack of situational awareness and they are likely to fertilize sunflowers soon.

I took it to mean that you would train the chimp and the dogs to fight as a unit under your command, and that you would lead them in a raid of destruction with burning Russian tanks lighting the way for the column of prisoners trailing behind you.

my posting is generally like a rorschach image, only more vague.

They probably left the cart free range in the parking lot like all assholes do where it’s free to damage other tanks and abandoned equipment…just like Walmart.

Off the top of my head, China can agree to integrate Russia's System for Transfer of Financial Messages with its own Cross-Border Interbank Payment System to facilitate easier payments to Russia, which will help to minimize the impact to some degree to the SWIFT sanctions. It can also exert massive amounts of pressure on countries across the Global South and Asia who depend on trade relations with China to use the system, as well. It would be de-dollarization on speed, of course, which China would need to manage in accordance with its own strategic goals.

It can aggressively utilize its unparalleled access to raw materials and manufacturing to eliminate some of the fallout of Russia being cut off from much of the world's technology markets. It can directly help Russia prop up the Ruble, as it has done in the past, as recently as 2014. It can lend in massive amounts. It can exert a ton of pressure on a variety of state actors to stay out of the sanctions game, which it has an enormous capacity to do. I can go on and on.

It doesn't mean they WILL do these things...but they can. And it again goes to the fine line that I originally discussed of allowing Russia to weaken as much as possible without killing the Golden Goose that can provide incredible amounts of raw materials and energy at an easy, discounted price.

China will rape Russia; gonna throw Putin a $20 lifeline and charge him $18 a month to rent the rope.

Good Idea, Bad Idea.

Good Idea: This gets the EU involved and expands the war, except no one knows how far.

Bad Idea: This gets the EU involved and expands the war, except no one knows how far.

Yeah, this is a very, very symbolic gesture that has actually already kinda quietly ruffled some feathers behind the scenes.

The process for EU accession is extremely cumbersome and there have already been statements here in Germany by government reps that while there is solidarity with Ukraine, EU accession will follow standard EU membership process - which means it would likely be years away. Turkey, which has been waiting for fucking evvvvver on their membership to move forward already said today, “So, when someone goes to war with us, do we finally get in?” Allowing Ukraine to essentially get automatic admission - and therefore access to all the goodies that Brussels offers - would not be a popular move once things settle down.

At the moment, Albania, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Turkey are all in various stages of negotiating the various 35 “chapters” required for EU membership, which are basicaly grouped into chunks. Some candiates are doing a better job than others…and some are more motivated than others to move forward. Some of the Chapters are fairly mundane, but others are very difficult to clear. Monetary policy, corruption controls, judicial/legal systems, procurement, company law, IP protection system, etc.

Ukraine has some pretty deep issues that have nothing to do with this conflict that they will need to clear up before they are even to the Chapter Negotiating phase, so this is a lot of EU grandstanding that would meet real opposition behind closed doors with a lot of member states. Here is the average  Average is almost 5 years, but that average is somewhat misleading due to short timelines of some really easy candidates like Austria, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, UK, etc.

A lot of focus on Kyiv, but Kharkiv is facing a disaster. Explains why they’ve taken what feels like the brunt of the shelling so far.

Edit: geolocated places where they’ve bombed. Source may be wrong, etc

Just for reference - Kharkiv is only 15 or so miles from the Russian border. It's not like it's deep in Ukraine or anything. But it's a big city.
