Dude, we didn't smoke their jap asses in WWII just to have them offer any "lessons" to us -- so stick it, libtard!

At the moment their lessons seem to be centered around suppressing reporting to salvage the Olympics.

And getting burned by opening shit back up, as is reported in a global news source.

And also tentacle porn.  There are always lessons there.

One of the (many) fucked up things about it is that for a lot of these folks the first amendment is all about the right to have the fire power to overthrow the government.  I tend to agree that was the intent, although there is a good argument it should be limited to militias and frankly is outdated any way.

Are you fucking retarded? Read the 2nd am. It references a well-regulated militia. Article 2 Section 2 says the Pres is commander in chief of the army, the navy, and the miltias of the several states. Google the 2 militia acts of 1792. There was never any intent for private citizens to own firearms.

Jesus tap-dancing christ, our entire nation is filled with assclowns.

But by golly we're going to force China to make changes to their cultural institutions and the way they run their country.

And they are already severely outgunned if they truly are trying to protect against government oppression. None of those fuckwads stand a chance against a drone or tank.

They want to play dress up and intimidate people all while making it inherently more dangerous for the population at large.

You know what?  I can't wait till they bring it.  It's fucking time for them to have the balls to stake their claim.  When they start shooting shit up, and law enforcement has no choice but to drop them like a rock, nobody will be able to deny the simple truth: these aren't "law and order" types.  They're just garden-variety terrorists (using violence or threats of violence to assert your political will), and mostly pussified ones at that.  I can't wait till some of these dumbass fucksticks playing army get fucking perforated by people who carry and use weapons for a living.  Reality checks can be brutal.

Garden variety terrorists usually risk death like a soldier. As you state, these are pussified terrorists more akin to furries than fusiliers.

There are doubtless genuine American terrorists out there such as the skinheads who enlist to learn about weapons and explosives. Timothy McVeigh serves as an example. These guys parading around like fools likely worship that murderer but wouldn't dare face law enforcement or the Army no matter how much they cream themselves dreaming about it.

I've never been a soldier, but I've made a point of learning second hand that actual combat is nothing like playing with your GI Joe.

From seamen to shining seamen,

Huntington Beach in California protestors:

My oldest is out in Cali trying to live and doing the right thing, and these folks are mad because their sandbox is closed. It's sad, because the governor was just beginning to roll out some opening guidelines to begin the process of regaining some measure of stability in the largest populated state. But no, these protesters  ain't got time for that. Can't thank him for doing what he could to keep them from overwhelming the hospitals and morgues. We just wanna tan!

And every militia member so conscripted was to bring his own "good musket" to said service.  And the acts presumed the existence of state militias, just brought them under federal control.

It's an argument, but not a very good one. Certainly not worthy of an "are you fucking retarded"?

You don't play dress up and carry your gun out in the open in order to gain tactical advantage in a battle.

You do it as a show of force and intimidation.  These guys are just ordinary fucking bullies....which also means that they're just ordinary cowards, because bully and coward are one and the same.

They're fucking worthless.  They're the worst that we the people are.  The fact that anyone gives them a voice, attention, or credibility is fucking pathetic.

What could go wrong?

It's not even thinly veiled as something supposed to go right. It's a raw power grab done in broad daylight. TV news won't know how to cover it (two sides on a panel where  lies are the equivalent of truth; not sexy enough) and the populace is too ignorant even after 12-16 years of education to grasp what it means.

Ledge. Idiot World. Shame and decline.

Historically the 2d Am. was viewed strictly as a public right.  Berger court changed all of that.

This was buried deep in the article:

Quote

"Late indicators and human decision making may delay mitigation to prevent catastrophic resurgence," the "incident outlook" report developed by FEMA and HHS says in a subsection titled "risks/limiting factors" for the objective of "minimizing transmission & risks to public health."

Realistically, given the funded pushback by folks tired of SIP, it is going to be difficult at the local level to put the herd back in the barn. The Administration having passed the buck is essentially (as Surly has been remarking all along) counting on plausible deniability and how best to extort product or monetary assistance for either financial or power gains. If we are fortunate enough to pass through the fall with no hurricanes, fires or earthquakes ($$$$) and we make it through to November with <100K deaths then the bags will be sold somewhere else because why stockpile when you can put $$ in your pocket? If we have the outbreak phase 2 that Fauci et al fear, then the governors will be calling. The art of the deal, you know.

These people are fucking nuts.

So they banged on windows and opened a window of a closed public building while armed.  Seems like armed trespass would apply.  Its also threatening to the person doing their job on the other side of the window.

No doubt black people doing something like this would have been killed by police or in jail already.

I'm surprised we also haven't seen any of these things lead to reckless endangerment charges simply for exponentially raising the risk of infection for others.  Or a civil claim.  I'd think, by now, a reasonable person would wear a face mask and maintain social distancing so as not to endanger those around them.  If I was a LEO, or some other necessary worker there, who caught covid and contact tracing pointed to one of these rallies, I'd sue every protester who was covid positive and who wasn't taking reasonable and standard precautions to prevent themselves from spreading the virus.
