Jimbo 2020: Strangers with Candi

Saban won't be able to get his defense performing all that much better than it is now, which is, worst they've had in a while.  He is definitely smart enough though to take command of the game on their first offensive possession and get 75 yards on 6 or 7 plays for a touchdown in about 1:30 minutes of game time.  Auburn 2.0 but with a heisman contender at QB and about 4 all-american caliber receivers .  the aggy crowd will wilt immediately

aggy visitor list.

These are guys we have confirmed will be there. We will update it throughout the week with more names and also once we know more about Donell Harris. Last week, his plan was to likely head to Baton Rouge this weekend, but it's still up in the air. We also need to confirm with Noah Sewell as there has not been much talk on him since he originally said he planned the visit months ago.

Almost all of the in-state commitments will be there as well. Akinola Ogunbiyi and Devin Price play on Saturday, so they won't. Shadrach Banks won't be there either as he always rides with Dematrius Davis and Davis is not able to make it.

Kenneth Phillips III could be added to the official visitor list. He will know later in the week.

In addition to A&M-Alabama, there is Texas-OU in Dallas and LSU-Florida in Baton Rouge that will have a lot of visitors as well.

The junior guys want to go to a game. They don’t give a crap.

The senior list is more telling. It’s basically all their commits and some maybes (ie not coming)

Collins always said he’s taking all visits. Princely is the weird one. Guess he wants to practice some spikes

my new favorite aggy mental gymnastic exercise is this ...

As a whole they are admitting that the current OL is fucking terrible because they are very slow-footed.

while at the same time blaming it on Henson, not The Marine and CERTAINLY not Jimbo, despite this being the EXACT scenario at FSU.

all the while those same posters bitch about how under-rated both Akinola, excuse me AK47, and Bankhead are.  (and goddamn stop with the fucking nicknames FFS). They have admitted that Smart is terrible.

the same thing is happening on the DL

WHY ARE THE 330 POUND DE'S NOT GETTING PRESSURE??!?!!? WE LACK JUICE. OMG WE NEED EDGE GUYS!!!

same posters ::

Isaiah Raikes and Dallas Walker are vastly under-rated. If they were from Florida they'd be high 4/5 stars. Josh Ellison got his 4th star. Hell yeah.

cube. life. son.

This shit right here is dangerous. Somebody tell this guy to shut up, we don't want them figuring out that the fact they always tell each other they're the greatest is exactly why they'll never be the greatest.

Like I wrote above this post, there are always voices like this getting shouted down at A&M. It's tradition to identify the 2%ers and scorn them since you can't actually stone them to death.

The true Aggie needs the 2%er as much as he needs tu to identify who he is.

As they become a diploma mill, this tendency will cause them alienate the non-red-asses who will get their degrees and quietly move on with their lives proudly declaring that they were 2%ers.  I've already witnessed this phenomenon.

yeah, gotta believe the large majority of that visitor lost is visiting because of Bama.

Bama’s defense is definitely vulnerable, but I can’t really see how A&M’s OL or skill position “talent” has any chance of exposing this vulnerabilities. They’re going to get torched in the oss game on defense.

Is he actually taking a visit to TCU, or were you just joking that he’s not going to the Bama game?

Hee! Hee! Hee .... 🤣🤣🤣🤣

When you win at a worse clip than the rival you know as "techtards," it's quite the stinging self-indictment.

The words spoken by Herb and Bear paint a much broader stroke than just our home field (non) advantage. It's speaks to our program and it's view on a national level.

Remember when we belonged to the B12, and how we viewed TTech? Little brother that could scare up a lucky win now and again, but didn't matter in the overall picture of the conference or the country.

That's how we are viewed today. Marginal in our conference, non factor nationally.

So, nothing real spicy to report back from texaggy radio today (mainly because no Looch), but what was a funny wrinkle today is Gabe Bock constantly kept saying "It's Bama week" like every segment. Like it's a huge rivalry game. So cute of them.

With Georgia and LSU on the road, this is probably their last chance to salvage the season

I cannot wait to see slo'neal  get burned on deep out routes. The only thing that will be better is watching the mass exodus of fans during the middle of the 3rd quarter.

He hasn't been playing as much in the past couple of games. Carper has been in instead. I'd go ahead and plan for Slo'Neal to be in the portal at this point. Kinda sad, because I like the impact he makes on their locker room.

I always get a kick out of aggy deriding our schedule.  They'd lose to all of: La Tech, OSU and WVU.  And the 3 teams they've beaten are all FCS level.

I also get a kick out of aggy desperately pulling for every team we play.  Since they're too scared to play us themselves.

A few things:

They sure as hell appear to be half drunk. Fine by me but when they're traveling after a long day of college football but let's call it what it looks and sounds like.

The Aggies knocked off No. 6 and No. 12 at home last year and took the national champs to the last play. Atmosphere in all three games was ELECTRIC and clearly gave the Aggies an edge...just ask the No. 3-ranked 2019 recruiting class what they thought about it.

The actual big-picture point they're trying to make isn't a terrible one. A lot of visiting teams have come into Kyle Field and knocked off the Aggies in the 2000s. It's factual. The primary issue can probably be explained as simple as this: A&M has underachieved for a long time now and the Ags have changed coaches four times since 2002. In other words, the Aggies haven't generally been the higher-ranked or better team in most of those big games.

And one final note: I'm pretty sure the Longhorn fans trumpeting this little video have conveniently forgotten Herbie's "cesspool" comment regarding the Texas program and also choose not to remember the fact that they haven't beaten a top-10 team at home in 10 years outside of 2016, when Bevo knocked off a Notre Dame team that finished 4-8 and a mighty Baylor squad coached by Dave Odom that went 6-6.

Dissecting dates and segmenting statistics to suit the narrative is a fucking way of life for aggies. Liucci probably teaches a class at Blinn on the subject.

Bama tanned that aggy ass last year.  Oh, they meant Clemson.  Aggy was trying to play the Syracuse role.

The LSU game was absolute home cooking by the refs, that game should have ended in regulation with an LSU win. The mighty kentucky wildcats were the most fraudulant top 15 team since Bill Snyder was in his hay day scheduling Monmouth and Bethune Cookman as his OOC schedule. Kentucky literally could not complete a 10 yard throw. The only reason they finished with 10 wins is because they play in the SEC where offense is highly discouraged so that everyone can feel good about wasting their Saturdays on a 10-6 huge SEC clubfest victory. .
