I’m indifferent on the replacement as it seems both are good coordinators but feel sick because this coach reboot happens once and if it doesn’t work we’re gonna be in the new coaching hire business next in 27

so the defense for Sark's term has performed better than the offense, but the major change in terms of style and calling plays comes on defense? make it make sense

Wife thinks this is transition prep for Sark to bail and we got interim waiting-in-wings. I can't explain it any other way. AND WHAT THE FUCK!!!!

Like was this a CDC or else move....

That actually is kind of a pattern we’ve seen across college football when the head coach is also a coordinator, particularly at A&M.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say sark isn’t firing flood who was the first guy that should have been shown the door and he isn’t gonna be forced to bring in an OC in by CDC which is  a little surprising.

Maybe he's waiting on some of the playoff guys to get done? That's what I'll tell myself so I can eventually be let down when it doesn't happen.

this is absolute insanity.  no one wants Muschamp as a head coach.

PK wanted out. Not complicated. Muschamp is a great replacement

Yeah, Muschamp is great.  It's not like he replaced PK with an unknown.

Feels like the media is running with "fired" and not that it was more mutual-y so he could end up at USC

Serious story:

about 9 months ago I talked to a VERY higg level source that was saying PK and Sark werent getting along and that PK was either “gonna get his guys in there” soon, or look for other jobs. Think the defensive hires since he was here were all forced on him and made by Sark or someone else

Im shocked that hes fired, but I def wouldnt be shocked if it was because he was pissed at Sark

This I can see. My wild ass guess is Sark wanted him to take more control of the secondary as well and he said, nah. Having one person coordinate the front seven and a different person running the backend always seemed weird.

When was the last time WM coordinated a defense?  15 years ago?

This.. I mean ya he was good but alot of shits changed since then we've seen how Akina has regressed.

Gonna be funny when PK gets hired at Georgia.

We're going to run into him again for sure. And it is going to be a motherfucker when it happens.

Hiring coaches as coordinators is exactly what Saban did, with pretty good results.

Probably a more successful strategy than hiring strippers as coordinators.

Sark was so desperate to figure out why his offense sucks he hired the guy that kept stuffing it in hopes of learning something.

I know this is a joke but hiring coaches from Georgia isn't a bad thing.  I bet Sark can learn quite a bit .

Watching Muschamp go nuts on the sidelines is fucking awesome. I can’t wait.

It'll be great when he punches Sark's lights out.

You guys are asking like we dug up and hired Buddy Ryan. He was Co-DC of the best team in the country TWO years ago and has remained there as an analyst since then. Christ

Wow. So we're firing our best coaches now? Cool, cool, cool. I get that some of y'all liked Muschamp's tough guy talk bullshit, but got damn. Fuck you, Sark.

At what point did the programmers of the simulation hit the "bizarro world" button?
