dude

the us 3rd regiment is the oldest in the army

they protect the unknown soldier at arlington and are the color guard for the fallen when they arrive at andrews

and they literally are chartered with OFFICIAL cosplay - not aggy cosplay - yesterday was not a one-time thing - they've been doing this forever

Are they the ones who liberated the airports at Lexington and Concord?

Charlie Kirk and I have a very different idea of what power looks like. I see a weak and senile old man.

Yes this has been a big difference between Americans for a decade now. To 40% of this country, this weak, feckless, buffoon is a strong leader with a successful background in business.

One of the things this underscores to me is that a lot of people buy into this mythology that rich fucks mean anyone can make it here, especially if we undertax them and let them do unto others with impunity.

But it underscores that the vast majority of people (who believe this) don't understand how privilege works and how easy it is to get much richer if you are already rich.

So he is or he isn’t escalating kidnappings and deportations?

Depends on where the brown people are and who they are working for. Hotel in a red state - no way. Walking down the street in LA - dangerous illegal who needs to go. Duh.

Shit I still walk in step with friends without realizing it, and I was in basic 30 fucking years ago.

It quite literally becomes almost indelible muscle memory.  The only confusion becomes "left foot first or right foot first?".  (Most learn the latter, I learned the former.)

Yeah sure that’ll happen. They’ll have “opportunities to invest”, pocket it, and the phone and network will never actually materialize. They really are diabolical genius grifters

They're gonna sell this, and people are gonna buy it...

Of course, there is a good chance that if they donate enough money to Trump, the spyware will just come preloaded on the TrumpPhone.

Private Hogle is that you? Only guy in our platoon who didnt know left from right so we marked the top of his left boots with a streak of shoe polish to help him out.

I avoided live fire exercises when he was involved.

Another bankruptcy in the making.

Nah, it's a licensing deal.  That's one of the main reasons Trump has avoided bankruptcy since AC, much of his revenue comes from licensing and other deals that don't involve any "management" by Trump or Trumpco.

I am super-skeptical about a $499 phone with those specs made in USA.

2003/2004 should've been the wake-up.call with all the blanket lies coming out of the Bush administration in both that election and the lead-in to the Iraq invasion.

Anyone else remember this quote?

The aide said that guys like me were 'in what we call the reality-based community,' which he defined as people who 'believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality.' [...] 'That's not the way the world really works anymore,' he continued. 'We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors...and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do'.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reality-based_community?wprov=sfla1

and then Kellyanne Conway tied it up nicely 15 years later in a totally digestible bow

political expression is covered by the 1st amendment and enforceable under §1983 (for example, an employer cannot fire or discipline an employee for exercising their right to vote in a particular manner or toward a particular party).  removing internal guidelines won't change well settled law in this regard.

Let's start with the obvious regarding the Trumphone and mobile plan.  They wouldn't exist if they didn't make him money.

Now, let's agree to set aside the rampant cynicism that Trump and company are banking on.  They wear people down by design.  Don't play along.

What's that you say?  This newest grift represents a violation of federal ethics laws?  Why yes!  Call it what it is and stop crying in the corner that nothing can be done.  I am beyond tired of Democrats folding.  Make yourself heard, loud and clear, over and over again.  Fuck your "friends and family" you don't want to alienate.

It appears that Trump mobile is "powered by Liberty mobile" which is a MVNO that leases network access from T-Mobile. The trumpmobile website is proof that these guys are working on some truly cutting edge mobile technology

How is this felony allowed entry into Canada for the G7? We've got pilots who have to bid around Canada because they got a DUI 30 years ago.
