It’s not July 7 yet?

or maybe it’s in person access only that is affected and that note is dumbly vague?

Does he really want to start talking shit about test scores?  Like Wecshler?  SAT?  Against AOC?

TFG ACED the SAT. He’s never missed a question on any test he has ever taken. He also is a seven time NBA Champion, rowed across the Atlantic by himself in two days and graciously never played chess because his overwhelming brainpower was judged to be too much for anyone to ever compete against.

The Trump Phone no longer promises it’s made in America

Quote

When the Trump Organization launched the Trump Mobile wireless carrier, it also launched a flagship phone called the T1 Phone 8002 (gold version). One of the phone’s main selling points was that it was to be made in America. We figured that was unlikely to be true. And we were right: sometime in the last several days, the Trump Mobile siteappears to have been scrubbed of all language indicating the phone is to be made in the USA. (Like, for instance, the huge banner on the homepage that says the T1 is “MADE IN THE USA.” Just to name one example.)

Quote

Instead, the Trump Mobile website now includes what can only be described as vague, pro-American gestures in the direction of smartphone manufacturing. The T1’s new tagline is “Premium Performance. Proudly American.” Its website says the device is “designed with American values in mind” and there are “American hands behind every device.” Under Key Features, the first thing listed is “American-Proud Design.” None of this indicates, well, anything. It certainly doesn’t say the device is made in the USA, or even designed in the USA. There are just… some hands. In America.

That’s not the only thing that appears to have changed about the phone since its launch last week. It was originally advertised to have a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, but now the T1’s site says it’s 6.25 inches. The site used to list the phone as having 12GB of RAM, and now doesn’t list RAM at all. It’s not entirely clear what’s happening here — the Trump Organization hasn’t responded to a request for comment — but it looks like Trump Mobile may have switched suppliers for the T1. Whatever’s going on, it’s certainly another reason to doubt whether this phone is for real. (The badly photoshopped image of the phone hasn’t changed, though, so that’s something.)

When Trump Mobile first launched, it was also promising the T1 Phone 8002 would ship in September. Now, the only timing I could find was “later this year.” Probably best not to hold your breath.

Oh, of course they will.

I suspect that internally the GOP heads are positively giddy about this development.  This is the kind of showdown they want.  It's a good stress test for how much they can get away with in these early days.

This isn’t the first time people on the right felt comfortable with this- it was also at the nominating convention and elsewhere on social media. And liberals are in a bubble?

They should be careful who they martyr. I guarantee things would pop off much bigger than a random judge or congress woman getting bullshit charges- disappearing the front runner for mayor of NYC will not be tolerated by regular people

Trump now has personal control over many business decisions by US Steel as part of the agreement to let Nippon Steel purchase them. Perfectly normal for a president to take over a private company. https://www.cnbc.com/2025/06/26/trump-golden-share-us-steel-nippon-merger.html

The new business charter does state that power is retained by the federal govt after Trump leave office but presumably there’s nothing stopping Trump from transferring that power to himself or his family. Or he can decide to reward himself whatever distribution he wants.

It reminds me when Obama gave himself power over many businesses in his 8 years. Oh wait, that never happened.

The "regular people" have tolerated a whole hell of a lot more in this country including a departing president who tried to overthrow the 2020 election. And then they elected him again. Give up your fantasies. Collectively, "regular people" will do nothing more than a.) cheer this shit on or b.) roll over and spread their cheeks.

If they disappear ZM and nothing significant happens to the administration, they will only be emboldened to start a wider purge of public officials pushing back.

We're far too fat, happy and complacent to turn into the kind of mob y'all think is going to form. There might be marches, and maybe those marches get a little boisterous. Social Media will be replete with memes, selfies and 'OMG look at what the cops are doing' videos. That's about it.
