I’ve had multiple people here say they were confused how we fumbled our opportunity to put him away. Me too bro.

I more than dabble in pacificism but wish ill upon Miller. He also has a tic that makes me think he’s close to shorting out and self-destructing.

One can hope.

Except literally everyone who thought that that was a bad look for our country is gone, and we're left with leaders who were probably asking, "What's the big deal? They deserve worse." back then.

You’ve seen my Facebook feed haven’t you?

Not the first time I’ve referenced it but Esper’s book on his time as sec def illustrates how much the cabinet hated Millers guts and punked the shit out of him often. But he had and has trumps ear and the same shit he spews on camera is exactly what he does behind the scenes.

There is nothing worse than the tell-all book from enablers.

Re: DOJ’s sentencing of guilty police officer in the Breonna Taylor murder. Federal judge says eff that noise:

A federal judge sentenced former Louisville Police detective Brett Hankison to 33 months in prison for the shots he fired during the fatal 2020 raid on Breonna Taylor's apartment.

The July 21 sentence was in defiance of a last-minute request from federal prosecutors that Hankison receive only a one-day sentence.

Western District of Kentucky Judge Rebecca Grady Jennings said she was “troubled” by the prosecutors' July 16 sentencing memorandum, as well as their arguments towards leniency in court on Monday.

one day sentence 😂😂😂😂

one day sentence

The DOJ’s sentencing filing might as well have just said what they meant: “Why ruin his life? All he did was kill a n——r.”

NSIAP but wow. the quiet parts are no longer out loud, they are the ONLY parts for some. it seems we are accelerating very quickly

not sure you can get the actual thing, so its a media outlet commenting on it. around minute 7 it starts

there is so much wrong here to comment on, but the most alarming to me is these kids are pissed off. They show up fuming fucking mad and can't form a logical thought at all. this is much further along than I had thought. This is "beating random people in the streets" next. This is whole episode is violence. These kids, and the men, are lost. I'd be packing my bags, if you haven't already.

I only made it to that first guy who opened his kimono and revealed himself a fascist -- to a round of applause -- in that first YouTube clip you posted.

Disgusting.

that first guy is mentally unstable. he was foaming at the mouth for validation from his peers. He is a walking social media disease - substance is irrelevant, being liked and validated is what mattered.

Here is the thing - I just watched the end of the full jubilee video - and some of the other right wingers were open and honest, and took issue with the overt fascism and racism. That was nice to see. But make not mistake - that first guy and a few of the others tell Mehdi to leave - they have friends, they have families, and they are happy to now be that guy. Ergo they are culturally accepted in this country for being that guy. A few months back it was "don't call me a nazi", Elmo isn't a nazi, and...........

I am a nazi and here is my platform of hate.

Applause.

Even for me being the cynic I am , its still shocked me to see kids willing to verbalize violence like this. And it is violence. Opening telling an American citizen to leave "because I don't want you here" is violence.

Yall should watch that whole thing.

J6 rioter says Medhi isn’t American.

The Aggy seeming guy tell Medhi that’s he’s on the list.

Icono thinks children in gaza should be shot by Israeli snipers.

The most reasonable guy on there thinks we should end birthright citizenship altogether and make any govt benefits subject to a citizenship test.

That will leave a mark.  Hopefully some of that 72% doesn't get distracted and actually votes in the future.

Guarantee that poll does not impress the Paramount leaders (Sumner Redstone's daughter) and it could very well lead Trump to suing CBS whenever "fake" data is distributed to make him look bad.

I guess Redstone believes that she'll be able to do just enough to get the transaction approved, but I think she's going to end up joining the long list of folks that end up being Lando to Trump's Vader ("pray I don't alter the deal further").  I think Jon Stewart said it pretty damn well yesterday:

He should've indicated that he teed it up to the moment when Stewart’s main rant about CBS started. It'd make a great short clip.

Approval polls are meaningless, they’ll all still vote for him.

They’ll publicly claim that “both candidates suck” in 2028 and then convince themselves that [insert Democratic candidate here] is the single biggest threat to the future of this country and will pull the R lever again.

It’s over, we lost.

Go read my last post in the CR flood thread about what the Texas lege has failed to do in implementing flood plans. There's a good ol' boy in Seguin complaining about the bureaucracy being at fault.

Great example of what you're saying. These people know they need to point the finger at someone, but have been so thoroughly conditioned that they keep failing to identify the real culprit behind their woes.

Haha, treason. Jesus Christ. I’d love to hear him walk through that explanation.

Whose funeral was that where Obama and Trump were being all chummy. Carter’s? After 10 years this is all still just pro wrestling to Dotard.
