Gabby Petito case - Dude comes back from couple's cross-country road trip; she's missing, he's silent

Here's an article that's really not worth reading, but you need a source:
https://www.newsweek.com/brian-laundrie-attention-turned-fort-de-soto-park-after-dog-bounty-hunter-tip-1633564

Synopsis:

1) Pup the Batty Hunter said "evidence" is in Ft. De Soto Park that he was there early Sept.
2) Sheriff's office there said <yawn> yeah well great, we're not looking because <we think you're nuts> no one has given us any evidence.
3) FDSP is on a skinny snake of land on the north side of Tampa Bay.  It's a total dead end.  If he were there he'd be an idiot to stay there, there's no way out.  So maybe he went there to bury something or throw some shit in the ocean (it's pretty close to his house).  But unless he left a laminated note saying, "I'm going from here to _______ and you can find me on _____ day at ______ time at _______ GPS coordinates," not worth much.
4) One other thing is it has a ton of docks/boats, but unless he used/stole one (which hasn't been reported), so what?

Basically, Dog has at least done one thing - given us hope for the return of the Mullet.

Not a bad thing to come out of all of this...

JACKSON, Wyo. (KUTV) — The widespread news coverage of Gabby Petito has helped lead to the discovery of another missing person, Teton County Search and Rescue officials stated.

Robert “Bob” Lowery, 46, was from Houston and had not been seen since Aug. 20, officials stated.

Search and rescue teams said they conducted a search for Lowery on Tuesday at the base of Teton Pass, Wyoming, where they located a body fitting Lowery’s description on a steep, timbered slope.

Authorities said the cause of death is unknown at this time and the family has been notified as they wait for identity verification.

On the search were 25 volunteers and three dog teams from the region, they said.

Teams were called out after new clues recently surfaced about Lowery’s case.

“The widespread news coverage of the Gabby Petito search helped bring light to Lowery’s case, and resulted in at least two members of the public calling local authorities this past weekend with new information about his possible last seen point,” authorities stated in a press release.

“The new information put Lowery on the Black Canyon Trail, wearing a black baseball cap with a gold P, and carrying a black duffle bag with the Nike logo,” they added.

Search and rescue teams reported one of their dogs finding a black Nike duffle bag significantly off trail at around 1 p.m., four hours after the search began.

Collectively, the search teams said they hiked more than 75 miles and covered 22,500 feet in elevation.

"TCSAR offers its gratitude to all those who helped in the search, and sends its most sincere condolences to the family of the deceased," they added.

Dog the Bounty Hunter Says He's Closing in on Brian Laundrie.

TMZ link not working….

Dogs going to find this guy before the FBI.  Supposedly has his location as of last night and closing in on him.  He is often successful because some people are willing to talk to him vs authorities.

It may not be as engrossing as the Tiger King documentary…but since Dog’s search for Brian is being filmed, if he catches him I bet the ratings for that will be huge.

He is also flying a plane around the islands surrounding that De Soto park with a sign taunting dirty lmao.

Brian Laundrie, the 23-year-old fiancé of doomed van-lifer Gabby Petito, bought a prepaid burner phone at an AT&T store in Florida the same day he went missing, the FBI believes, according to TMZ. Federal agents seized surveillance video from AT&T’s North Port location, where he allegedly bought the device on Sept. 14, the outlet reported, adding that he was seen at the store with an “older woman.” Laundrie’s lawyer, Steven Bertolino, did not respond to a request for comment, but disputed the notion that the FBI is trying to locate the phone, claiming that Laundrie’s parents “did purchase a new phone and it’s the same phone that Brian left home and which the FBI is in possession of.”

Petito, 22, was reported missing by her family on Sept. 11, 10 days after Laundrie inexplicably returned to Florida from a cross-country road trip the couple had been on—without Petito. Laundrie’s parents claim they last saw their son on Sept. 14, and reported him missing three days later. He is now the subject of an intense manhunt by law enforcement.

We need Dog to catch dirty. It would be so poetic. Imagine the Halloween consumes! Mullets everywhere. When his show first came out a long time ago I watched it. It was pretty entertaining watching trashy people catch even trashier people. Awesome.
