I don't have the article, only the letter (I've used up my allotment) but here it is behind the spoiler because the names are individual. Pretty short letter and to the point.

Spoiler

This presidential election has been decided and it is time for the country to move forward. President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris have won the Electoral College and the courts have rejected challenges to the electoral process. Congress should certify the electoral vote on Wednesday, January 6. Attempts to thwart or delay this process run counter to the essential tenets of our democracy.

The incoming Biden administration faces the urgent tasks of defeating COVID-19 and restoring the livelihoods of millions of Americans who have lost jobs and businesses during the pandemic. Our duly elected leaders deserve the respect and bipartisan support of all Americans at a moment when we are dealing with the worst health and economic crises in modern history. There should be no further delay in the orderly transfer of power.

Sincerely,

Trump has taken particular joy in having close ties with some business leaders such as Stephen Schwarzman, chief executive of the Blackstone Group. Schwarzman did not sign the letter, but the president and chief operating officer of his firm — Jonathan Gray — did.

Wait until Trumpers learn how the White House gets its food for the First Family.

I presume this is all part of Trump's master plan to get to nurse from Ivanka. 4-5 year long game, but well played dotard, well played.

No golf course, but there is a bowling alley.  And Trump's physique does suggest hitting the lanes more than hitting the links.

Anybody else have "Secret Service Civil War" on their POTUS bingo cards?  The transition by the two teams (the one that will assume POTUS detail for Biden and the one that will assume former POTUS detail for Trump).    It's gonna make for a really awkward summer softball game.

Just throwing it out there that once you are no longer President, but are still protected by a SS detail, you have to buy your own food again.  I mean, not just monetarily, but the elaborate scheme they go through each week to buy the First Family's food for the residence/WH kitchen...that's gone.  Trump, being a creature of a habit, will resort to the same foods from the same places without the cloak & dagger touch they put on it.  Be a shame if he got so sick that he had to go to Walter Reed again while Biden's team is moved in.

Not sure why this is an "OMG" thing. This is what I expected would be the plan if Trump were to refuse to leave. He's not going to be perp-walked. This is a guy used to lots of creature comforts and a staff who does his bidding. Removing that makes his departure a foregone conclusion no matter what he thinks.

Yup, I visited it ~ 1972 when my uncle took us down there.  He was on SS detail for Nixon, who put in the bowling alley.  I think it was one lane, maybe two, can't recall.

They also had a giant floral facility down there -- I guess they use a lot of fresh flowers at the WH.

Here is the oath that Secret Service folks take:

“I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

I'd order then to stand down but stand by.

We've been reduced to using to the same humane strategy with the President that you would with vermin in your attic: seal the exits, don't allow access to sustenance, then wait until they show themselves and remove them.

It's too good for him.

It's extra funny because he really does have the worst fucking lawyers as George Bluth famously said.

Seriously, you have to try really hard to deal in New York commercial real estate for 50 years, with some modicum of notoriety, and not accidentally meet 1 or 2 competent attorneys.  This guy is just fucking amazing.

He certainly knows plenty of competent attorneys. His problem is that those attorneys expect to get paid.

If that happens, the DOJ should file trespassing charges against him. The SS doesn't need to go to war with itself. He should be charged like any other private citizen who trespasses on white house grounds. He should also be sued for the amount it costs to set Biden up as President in another location.

I can assure you that bunker bitch will not risk putting himself in a situation where somebody would use physical force against him, he is a pussy, come 1/20 all that will be left of him in the white house will be orange stained bath towels and dirty McDonalds bags.
