It actually makes less sense the longer you think about it.  The people moving to Texas because of the Mamdani election are likely political allies of Abbott, yet he's telling them that they are not welcome.  He's not even fake punishing the right people!

As a political enemy of Abbott, would he consider paying me to leave? I’m open to negotiations.

It's happening all over but they'll stay united against "evil libs" no matter what.

The CFISD board flip was assisted by the vice president choosing to run against the president for his seat instead of running for her own seat. Why? Because he wasn't hard right enough.

The guy who was fired from his job for being racist at a school board meeting wasn't hard right enough for them.

In that election she got 34%, he got 21%, sane guy who won got 45%.

Perfectly normal to start deploying political watch dogs in every school.

Yeah, this doesn't end well for them. There are enough high school students that are serious about debate and know their shit well enough to derail these meetings by "just asking questions". And they're all here for it too.

My daughter is one of them.  She's been a professional arguer since she could talk and she hates these fuckers.

She made one of the Academy dorks cry during a World History debate.
