Yeah, raised concerns that will never be concerning to millions upon millions of Americans.  Many who vote and many who do not.  Nothing matters.  We are in hell.

Hmmm ... that would explain why I have to listen to John Smoltz drone through damn near every MLB postseason game.

IMHO ... Probably makeup to cover the bruising old folks often get with an IV, esp in the hand.

Holy shit, my dudes. That's the worst I've seen since just before my stepmonster died.

My guesses on Trump's ankles and hand makeup:   Peripheral edema, symmetric in the ankles, indicative of mild heart failure and use of coverup makeup on fragile skin dorsum of hand, probably concealing senile purpura.

Okay, those weren't my guesses.  I stole them from a Facebook post.   My diagnoses? He has lie-abities and Don-orrhea.

If you know, was an explanation provided for the traffic stop in the first place? Such as vehicle lights out, improper turn, speeding, driving too slowly, etc.? Sounds like Fburg PD was profiling and looking for drogas.

Dang. If tag and stickers were current, no swerving or crossing center line, no improper turns and no lights out, that’s a really strict speeding stop but legit.  When on the road in a “foreign” jurisdiction best to err on the side of caution, right? A former Alabama state trooper client once told me their rule of thumb was a relaxed standard, “zero to nine over limit is fine but ten and up over limit, you’re mine.” Mrs. Llama was once stopped for speeding by a trooper in rural Choctaw County, Alabama.  She was observing the “stay with other vehicles” driving technique and was last of about ten in a cluster of traffic on a divided four lane US highway.  The lead car in the cluster was a red sports car 🚘, which she figured would be pulled over first . . . Wrong!  She saw an oncoming trooper topping a hill with his blue lights already strobing.  He passed the whole group, crossed the median and immediately stopped her, driving an inocuous white Tahoe. He ticketed her for speeding. She ended up having to attend “speeding school.” Mrs. L is 72 years old and that is the only traffic ticket she has ever had.

A vital progressive movement would correctly understand that as a declining middle class standard of living. In the last 50 years the number of dual income houses has roughly doubled but their inflation adjusted income has stayed roughly the same, even while their debt increased radically and the cost of education exploded. But because progressivism is a dead ideology intellectually dominated by privileged navel gazers and bullshit artists, Democrats are genuinely confused about why they are losing the working and middle class.

You left out that on the job training really no longer exists.

In the last round, they specifically shored up incumbents because the Rs thought they reached the limits of their gerrymandering in Texas. To do this, they will have to make seats more competitive. If they believed there were 5 seats to be gained, they absolutely would have done that in 2020.

TFG has demonstrated a significant disregard to any and all risks. That’s how you end up with Herschel Walker winning the R nomination in Georgia. He’s requesting that several of the R incumbents walk the plank and they are hoping it doesn’t break. I hope they all end up drowning in the ocean.

Yeah, if Texas goes through with this it will backfire bigly.  2 seats flipped in 2018 without Rs trying to spread their majorities more thinly.

So he’s trying to lay the groundwork to fire Jerome.

He keeps saying that Biden hired him when it was Fat Boy himself who hired him.

Where is Jake tappers book about the mental acuity of Fat Boy?

I suppose it’s too much to ask for this Epstein deal finally being the moment where the rubes realize that they’ve been conned for the last 10 years.

He may lose some of his shine for them, but at best they’ll just say they never actually liked him personally but they had no choice because the Dems got too radical. Much more radical than the man actively trying to ethnically cleanse the country and destroy all our institutions of science and academia for being enemies of dear leader’s glorious cultural revolution.

While I like and, in some ways, share the sentiment, the band would have been a lot more pissed off and worried if their kids were also on the boat.

I get that, even as someone who chose not to have kids.  But the die has been cast.

You may be polishing it, but half the population are stealing it and thinking their horde will make them rich and nothing bad will happen.

Fuck em.  There ain't no changing minds now.  We're gonna have to let this play out.  This country is full of the softest, most spoiled, entitled, stupid, gullible mother fuckers that I have ever experienced.  There are dozens and dozens and dozens of Camp Mystics to come.  Hell, they need to happen at this point to show them that bad things do happen to rich people.

It dies minute by minute, while people wait for someone else to notice.

This is your four-minute warning.
Next time, there may not be time left on the clock at all.

Mrs Llama has a better driving record than me. And, yes, my kid’s group was rightfully stopped, and a ticket would have been appropriate. We have taught our daughter traffic stop/police etiquette, so when the query for permission to search was made, she, from the passenger seat, immediately said “no.” The cop asked her why,  and she said it was within their rights to refuse.

Maybe the cop was actively looking for drugs with every traffic stop, and maybe the automatic refusal and assertion of a right to do so pissed off the cop. To us, speeding itself shouldn’t  justify a search, much less a K9 search. And we are angered that an unsuccessful search was followed by a physical search of their persons.

Currently in ruralish Brazil (Rio Branco) visiting my wifes family. This place was a Bolsonaro hot bed, including most of her family. They have nothing but venom towards Trump after this past 2 weeks. Him trying to interfere with Brazilian politics/economics/social media regulation is backfiring and actually garnering large support behind Lula. Dumb idiot.
