Flight disrupting assholes Thread of Shame.

Passenger on Sunday’s Condor flight from Frankfurt to Punta Cana had quite the adventure. A fight escalated between passengers over the Atlantic, requiring a diversion. The only practical diversion point was Ponta Delgada, where the passengers were taken into custody by police.

At that point the crew would have timed out and couldn’t fly to Punta Cana anymore. Unfortunately there also weren’t enough hotel rooms on the island, so the airline decided to send passengers to Tenerife, where they’d spend the night. Then the following day, the airline flew from Tenerife to Punta Cana, arriving around 25 hours behind schedule.

An AA Flight Attendant disrupted a flight...by dying.

Tragically, an American flight attendant passed away yesterday on a flight that was scheduled to operate from Venice (VCE) to Philadelphia (PHL). On June 21, 2023, AA715 was operated by a roughly one-year-old Boeing 787-8 with the registration code N883BM.

The flight departed Italy as scheduled, though unfortunately during the early portion of the flight, one of the flight attendants had a medical emergency. CPR was performed on her, but she passed away. The flight then ended up diverting to Dublin (DUB), where it landed just over 2hr30min after departing Venice.

A buddy of mine had a dude next to him die on a flight from LAX to Taipei. They basically covered him in a blanket and left him in the seat. Buddy was moved to another seat.

She's an asshole but the cop's got strong dog-shooting vibes too.

I thought the cop behaved well. He wasn’t mouthing off to her or going outside of his duties. She decided to drive away, and I’m sure his training told him to treat that person as hostile. And many old ladies are driving around with guns.

Bet he took some crap from other officers that the old lady kick threw him down.

I’ve watched plenty of bad officer videos and this guy displayed none of those behaviors.

This happened a few years ago…

According to online court records, Hamil pleaded guilty to resisting an officer, obstruction, eluding, and operating a vehicle with defective equipment. All of those charges are misdemeanors.

As a result, the state agreed to dismiss the assault and battery charge.

Hamil received a four-year deferred sentence and will have to pay a $50 fine on each count.“

https://www.fox8live.com/2023/08/03/bloody-passenger-subdued-delta-airlines-flight-landing-new-orleans-after-threatening-attendant/

A passenger on the flight, who wished to remain anonymous, reported that they were called to offer medical assistance to the unruly man, identified as 39-year-old Nelson Montgomery, who was already bleeding profusely from his neck.

In an unexpected escalation, the witness tells Fox 8 that Montgomery pulled a flight attendant into a chokehold, brandishing what appeared to be a shard of broken glass against the attendant’s neck and threatening to ‘cut off her head’ if anyone got too close.

The witness says it took the combined effort of eight people to subdue Montgomery until law enforcement could board the plane finally. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office apprehended Montgomery upon landing.

“Next thing I know she’s in a rear naked choke and he’s got a shot glass to her throat,” a passenger told Fox 8. “He had already cut his throat. He was already bleeding when he came up to the front. There was a blood trail on the seats where he was touching seats as he came through.”

Deputies say he is currently receiving medical treatment for his injuries and will be booked with aggravated battery, disturbing the peace and simple battery. The flight attendant involved in the incident suffered minor injuries, with deputies reporting two cuts that were treated at the scene.

An American Airlines passenger prevented a plane from taking off — forcing others to reschedule their flights — after she was asked to get off her phone, federal prosecutors said. The woman refused the flight attendants’ request, which made her “irate” as the plane heading to Chicago was departing from Buffalo Niagara International Airport in New York on April 19, 2022, according to court documents. She left her seat, headed toward the front of the plane, argued with passengers and spit on one, an affidavit says. Then, she’s accused of taking out her phone and recording.

The situation escalated when the woman realized she was “going to be in trouble” and decided to leave, according to the affidavit. With the plane in motion, she pushed a flight attendant, opened the front door and slid down the aircraft’s emergency slide after causing it to activate, the affidavit says. The woman, 24, of Rochester, was sentenced to time served and three years’ probation after she pleaded guilty to two counts of simple assault in the special aircraft jurisdiction of the U.S., the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York announced in a May 26 news release. She agreed to pay $42,128 in restitution as part of her sentencing, according to her plea agreement.

What is the penalty for failure to pay these fines? I have to think that a high percentage of people fail to make payments and all they need is a decent lawyer and a sympathetic judge to let off the hook in the future.

They should have added up every minute everyone on the plane was delayed due to her dumbass and that should have been her jail sentence.

Yeah it used to be that everyone knew that if you fucked around with airport or airline employees, esp on an airplane, or fucked with an airplane, you were gonna be in seriously deep shit. From what I've been reading in these stories lately, I rarely if ever see anything about anyone getting punishment fitting their crimes. I guess that's part of why there's so much crazy shit happening? They know they're gonna get away with it? Some people done lost their got damn minds in airports & on airplanes the last few years. Un fucking real.

It used to be that the passengers flying cared about being arrested, charged with battery, aggravated battery, disturbing the peace or other crimes, and also being taken off the plane and spending a night in jail, missing flights, meetings, events.

The types of airline customer clientele has expanded.

Abu DhabiCNN —

A bear being transported on an Iraqi Airways flight from Baghdad to Dubai Friday caused delays after it escaped from a crate in the cargo hold.

Iraqi Airways issued an apology after a video circulated online of a male passenger saying the return flight to Baghdad was delayed for “over an hour due to a bear in the cargo.”

The bear was sedated by a specialist team in Dubai and taken off the plane, Iraqi Airways said in a statement shared with CNN.

The airline issued an apology on Saturday, saying the bear had escaped the crate “upon arrival to Dubai Airport.”

“The company apologizes to the passengers on the flight from Baghdad International Airport to Dubai Airport for reasons beyond the control of the company,” it said.

“The delay happened because of a shipment in the cargo hold,” the statement added.

“Upon arrival to Dubai Airport, the animal escaped the crate specified for its shipment,” the airline said, adding that it was being transported in line with international animal welfare guidelines.

Did we miss this?

Comedian Carrot Top claimed he was aboard the plane when the viral incident happened.

'The f–king nutjob just lost her mind in front of the whole plane,' he said.

Carrot Top had previously shared the incident on social media, writing: 'I hope she's happy!!! We're all stuck in Dallas now because of her.'

He said the woman was upset because she 'lost her earbud,' but did not elaborate.

'I hope you're having a relaxing evening behind bars in Dallas Texas and hope you enjoyed your little stunt,' the comedian said on Instagram.

'Five hours later we're here in Orlando,' Carrot Top added. 'I missed the fireworks and everything tonight.'
