Shirt embroidery and shouting, "I'm a Senator" =  identification.

He's a fucking loser. Instead of looking in the mirror he takes it out on others and chooses to make things worse for other people. Lots of those in this country it turns out.

Cross posting. @Pancho thanks for the find.

As if the police couldn't arrest anyone if necessary, this is clearly a photo op and marks another sad point in all this fuckery Trump generates.

I mean...fucking Jesus.  I get text spam fundraising bullshit from all sides, and just yesterday I got the Trump version of this about "SAVE LA FROM THE RADICAL LEFT LUNATICS WHO SIDE WITH CRIMINALS" and shit.

But that's not grifting, that's just good government right there.  LAW AND ORDER.

Oh, and that video clip of the AMERICAN hispanics they fucking grabbed in East LA?  Fuck yes, those are my guys.  Fight fucking back.  We are more American than any fucking racist gestapo piece of shit.  Want to do unAmerican fascist shit?  Go volunteer in Hungary or Russia, but fuck right off from here.

US Marines have begun arrest citizens and executing law enforcement actions in lieu of local law enforcement

Speaking to reporters after he was released, the civilian identified himself as Marcos Leao, 27. Leao said he was an Army veteran on his way to an office of the Department of Veterans Affairs when he crossed a yellow tape boundary and was asked to stop.

So what authority do they have to detain anyone?

It is ok to admit it was a publicity stunt. A very effective one for its intended audience. A majority of the country had never heard his name nor seen his face before this week. All congressmen are grifters. It’s in the job description and required for employment security.

Facts reported are that he wasn't wearing his senate security pin, his jacket was covering his monogrammed polo and reporters from both CNN and CBS confirmed he didn’t identify himself until being detained in the hallway.

I understand the need to demonize those who feel current immigration laws should be enforced, I also feel it is ok to disagree with that.

Immigration laws are a red herring. This is overreach and abuse of power by the most corrupt leader in the history of this country. You’re going to be on the wrong side of history, get your soul in order.

Dude, you can watch the video and he says "I am Senator Padilla" well before they frogmarched him out of the room.

This whole administration is one long publicity stunt.  Including "immigration enforcement."

And whether congressmen, or any other politicians are low-grade grifters, Trump out-grifts them all by massive margins.

Literally every viral video of this circulating shows that this is false. So either CNN and CBS are full of shit (could happen) or you’re lying again.

But after he acted a fool, was engaged by the security, and escalated the physical confrontation.

It's really amazing watching the rorschach play out.

The really funny part is that in his after action press conference he insists that he be allowed to make his statement and says he won't be taking any questions. He just blew up a press conference in progress with questions during the statement period, and refused questions during his statement. Come on y'all, just recognize teh absurdity of the situation.

"All I wanted to do was ask a question. No questions please."

Pretty sure if acting a fool was a crime, you would have been executed long ago.

Y'all just resort to silly ad hominem nonsense like this. @immamac  banned another poster for far less trolling than this today. Hold your breath for any consistency in the moderation here.
