Who has said that?

This is 2025, dude. You don't multi-post hero leap over a multiple murder/ mass shooting (the subject of this thread) to hijack it into an historical defense of Christianity while assuming that others assume you're a decent human being.

Godwin's Law is dead.

You have to be explicit you're a decent human being and you're doing a shitty job of it.

Except for the millions who give under the threat of eternal damnation.

C’mon that’s ridiculous. No serious Christian believes that.

Mrs Hoffman's statement was shared on Instagram by Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar.

"John is enduring many surgeries right now and is closer every hour to being out of the woods," Mrs Hoffman wrote.

"He took 9 bullet hits. I took 8 and we are both incredibly lucky to be alive.

"We are gutted and devastated by the loss of Melissa and Mark. We have no words. There is never a place for this kind of political hate."

I tend to agree, but he's not the type to do that and because he's not the type to do that the only thing he "should" do is take the call, to prevent the focus shifting to petty drama and away from the victims and bringing the killer to justice.
Walz should take the call, as long as Trump keep things productive (yeah, right), but the second Trump starts his bullshit the call ends. Let the piece of shit talk to himself for a couple minutes.

In the early modern period, from about 1400 to 1775, about 100,000 people were prosecuted for witchcraft in Europe and British America.[1]Between 40,000 and 60,000[2][3] were executed, almost all in Europe.[citation needed]The witch-hunts were particularly severe in parts of the Holy Roman Empire.[citation needed]Prosecutions for witchcraft reached a high point from 1560 to 1630,[4][5] during the Counter-Reformation and the European wars of religion. Among the lower classes, accusations of witchcraft were usually made by neighbors,[6] and women and men made formal accusations of witchcraft.[7] Magical healers or 'cunning folk' were sometimes prosecuted for witchcraft, but seem to have made up a minority of the accused.[8][9] Roughly 80% of those convicted were women,[10] most of them over the age of 40.[11][12][13] In some regions, convicted witches were burnt at the stake, the traditional punishment for religious heresy.

The witch hysteria that spread across lots of Europe is a fascinating thing to lol at and historians have all sorts of theories about how/why it happened and where it got worse— ranging from climate to instability to Catholic/Protestant competition. One thing that’s indisputable is that prior to the early modern period witch-hunts and trials were unknown and early medieval and late antiquity religious authorities held that belief in witches and diabolical sorcery was itself a heretical superstition.

During the early modern period the worst of the witch-trials and hunts were done by secular courts and authorities. The areas where the Roman, Spanish, and Portuguese inquisition was strongest saw very few to almost no witch trials; the Inquisition was concerned with heresy, did not believe in diabolical sorcery as a concept, and discouraged secular courts from pursing witch trials.

It’s clear that belief in witches and witch-hunts was religiously motivated: but the relationship of the phenomenon to the most organized and educated religious authorities of the time is much more muddy.

It’s a shame he didn’t end it all before they found him.

If it’s true and they found him, chicken shits like this are too scared to off themselves.

They “preach” that horseshit to others but are scared as a mofo when it all comes down to it.

Had Father's Day brunch with the in-laws.

Discussion about Trump birthday bash: ~10

Discussion about Democratic lawmakers killed / shot in their home or possibly the start to world war 3: 0

Highlights:

It was so tastefully done.

It was cool to see the history.

You would never know that it was Trump's birthday.

All the army folks in it were loving it.

In North Korea they don't smile in the parades.

It’s a different suicidal calculus when a pardon might be on the table.

Trump can’t pardon him on a state conviction.

Yeah, there are few federal murder statutes, most involving federal property. It's going to be state charges.

what this photo tells me is that he thought he could start moving after sunset, and his uneducated lizard brain has no understanding of infrared imaging - note the LE with night vision that became effective at the transition from civil to nautical twilight - it looks like they got him about 10 minutes in -  i would guess a drone was able to discern his image variance - closing in for the grab was rote - and his 'crawling to them' is code for something else - look at his clothes - he hasn't been 'crawling' through anything

The version of this thread on Daily Texan forum is a good example of why there are so few Trump supporters/conservatives that post in CR.

They post a bunch of misinformation, gloat about believing this killer is a Democrat, and then once the facts come out...

poof_usual_suspects.gif

They're gone. Scattered like cockroaches. The only reason CR is a Dem "echo chamber" is because conservatism is dead and has been replaced by pure trolling and disingenuousness. Easier to just stop posting when you can't sincerely defend your positions anymore.

Very Aggie-like biography bragging about the size of the companies where he’s worked. I’ve worked for large companies and you can have such a specialized role that you fail to learn much.

I’ve only been alive for 50 years, but I struggle to think of anything good organized religion has done in my lifetime. Yet I can vividly remember children being blown to bits and hospitals hit by missiles (fucking yesterday btw).

Organized religion did that?
