I say fuck all the time.  Not going to hold that against him even though he probably shouldn’t do it during a radio interview.

Nobody actually cares if grown adults say "fuck". The ability to creatively swear is something that makes me respect a person more. It's just that the GOP and their supporters are a bottomless pit of bad faith. Click through to check the responses when Ilhan Omar had the gall to use the word "fuckery" in a tweet:

Fuck her for saying something so terrible while not being white I guess.

a $1.8 trillion stimulus package proposed by Trump. HOLY SHIT!!! Did Rush light himself on fire?!!!!!

Remember the 2009 Recovery Act under Obama?  $787 billion of which a 1/3 were tax cuts.

That spurred the Team Party movement, which i am guessing 99% of those former TP member who are still alive will be voting for Donald J Trump next month.

Socialism, I tell you!! Socialism!

(this is on top of $2.2 trillion CARES act passed a little more than 6 months ago)

Spend, spend, spend

This.

Irony isn't just dead.  It's been cremated, and its ashes have been launched into the sun.....using US tax dollars.....half of which were funneled to a Trump-owned business formed yesterday for the task of "rocket consulting."

This, and he is obviously feeling very comfortable not even attempting to censor himself these days.  One could say he seems a bit manic, and perhaps is about to crash soon (keep Hope alive, I say).

chief of staff

I dunno, Chief of Staff is a pretty crappy job, at least traditionally, regardless of who is President.  That's why most of them don't last more than a couple years. You gotta make sure all the bs the boss spouts gets done and usually don't get a lot of visibility. Hard to say where he'd be a fit.  OMB maybe, technically not a cabinet post...well, neither is CoS.  VA maybe but that's a crappier job than CoS. UN Ambassador?, again technically not cabinet.

the irony...steve schmidt was the harbinger of this bullshit.  he was responsible for bringing sarah palin to the forefront.  that little exercise and the brilliant fireworks show it very temporarily created demonstrated a shift to embracing fucking morons.

i'm glad he's trying his best to undo his handiwork but he still needs to take a bit of responsibility for it.

Facts.

never-trumper neocons are untrustworthy. They will scurry back to the dark corners when the trumpers lose control of the Repub Party.

but I appreciate their efforts to mitigate the damage they helped spur.

There is something strange about the perspective in that video. Its almost as if they are using a  lens that exaggerates perspective . In other words, when he holds his hands out in front of himself, his hands look larger than usual...almost like a normal person. 100% that was Trump's directive " make sure my hands look big"

Chief of Staff is a very powerful position but it requires some understanding of how the White House works. Pete has no experience in Washington. I don't think he's qualified for the position. He needs a position where he can be groomed for bigger and better things. Even a deputy position somewhere would be a big step for him. I can't speak to his interests or where he'd be best qualified to serve. Maybe Deputy National Security Advisor? I'm not qualified to make predictions but I'm interested to see where he goes if Biden wins and I hope I get to find out.

Whew, I thought for a second this thread was pivoting to a debate between Pete and Bobby O’Rourke.  Thank goodness we’re not going down that path.  I mean, sure Pete is one of the smartest public servants out there delivering races at the senate and national level with an unmatched public service record for America.  But Beto is gonna blow through $70mm of other people’s and his dad’s money to maybe help win one state Senate race for his party.
I admire Beto’s passion, but it’s time in this country to let the smart, self-made leaders have a turn.

you drinking already?

Can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning.

Should Biden win and manage to take office in a the peaceful transfer of power we’ve come to take for granted the Chief or Staff will be Ron Klain.
That’s my opinion, but Port-a-potty milf and the off-airport parking guys agree.

The Beto/Pete comparison/differentiation was not brought up by me, and it was brought up several posts before mine.  I was commenting on a running commentary.

My BAC is comfortably below your bitch meters.  I chimed in a running thread, it's 2020 politics...you may wanna get used to it.

I don’t get crapping on Beto. I was disappointed by his presidential run just like everyone else, and who’s to say what his motivation really is at this point, but he has absolutely been working his ass off for Biden and downballot Dems in Texas this year.

I’m not crapping on him, I just wish he hadn’t spent two campaigns on an apology tour and would get his ass back in the House.
